I use this one, seems to help, but only if I sleep with my head in the middle. Sometimes I wake up on my side, on the edge of the pillow, and will have a head/neck ache, I think from unconsciously trying to hold my head from rolling into the divot.
The worst pillow ever. That being said, if you are looking for an incredible pillow that can help to solve your neck pain, try the below:

Dude same. Always left ear. For anything. Sleeping. Over ear headphones. Sunglasses. Whatever. I gotta get me one of these
The Original Pillow with a Hole - Your Ear's Best Friend - for Ear Pain and CNH https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NCDSINI/
My entire family is currently using Coop pillows, they feel absolutely great. I've also heard really good things about the Purple Pillow for back sleepers, but the price tag was a bit hard to swallowq
Just wanted to chime in and say that I'm currently using the same pillow. It's been pretty great to me so far, but I've only had it about a year, so I can't speak to its BIFL longevity (yet). That said, you can easily add/remove/replace the memory foam pieces inside over time, and it comes with about an entire pillows worth of extra foam. That should, in theory, give it an effectively infinite lifespan. It's also made in the USA, fwtw.
It's an especially good pillow for side-sleepers, as the best side-sleeping position is to tuck your arm under the pillow, and this one accommodates that really well - that's the main reason I purchased it. Unfortunately, a lot of other memory foam pillows are either way too thick, or are made out of a single piece, which makes tucking your arm less ergonomic.
Just make sure to follow the directions about tossing it in the dryer before use, otherwise it's going to be really lumpy. Throw in a dryer sheet or two you like the smell of, as well, as the initial smell can turn some people off. Drying removes a decent amount of it, and the rest fades pretty quickly with use.
Edit: /u/mewithoutMaverick reminded me below that I actually purchased the cool gel infused version of this pillow, which is slightly different, and slightly more expensive than the one linked here. But, if you're a hot sleeper, it's well worth the extra cash, imho.
That's my 2¢.
Yeah it holds up, not as good as my Amazon hotel pillow... THESE are the fucking bomb.
Trust me, I dislike Mike a lot and want to say they are shit.
All I can say is they are overpriced. Not shit, but overpriced.
Also, as I said Mike sucks, but he does pay his workers a decent wage for the area.
I got one as a present from family. It wasn't terrible but the quality wasn't great. It felt like any other pillow you could get from Walmart or Target, and it was nowhere close to the quality of a comparable pillow like Coop Home Goods foam pillows (which I use). Prices are about the same but the quality difference is fairly large.
Putting it here for those interested.
It’s only got a slight latex smell too, so it’s not overpowering. At least mine was faint.

This one has popped up a lot. I tend to sleep on the hot side and like a specific loft that is hard to find. I'm going to pair it with a bamboo one I saw at Kohls since it's a decent price. The two bamboo ones I bought from Amazon are too large lengthwise and don't feel supportive enough.
I just got a wedge pillow for sleeping and I think it helps a bit. If you have severe apnea it won’t be enough but maybe worth trying while you wait for a sleep study?

I've never tried the Purple pillow outside of a showroom floor. When I did the regular one seemed meh. The hybrid Purple Harmony one seemed a bit nicer. I'm a side sleeper so I liked the height on that one better.
What I ended up going with and loving is this one. https://www.amazon.com/Coop-Home-Goods-Adjustable-Hypoallergenic/dp/B01LYU7V4S/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=coop+pillow&qid=1624943613&sr=8-6
It's super soft and solid, but it still provides a lot of support. It doesn't overly contour at all for me personally. Also, it's adjustable by adding or removing the filling. I ended up adding all the extra because I like a tall pillow.
I did at first but eventually my neck pain got too bad cuz those things are not meant to be real pillows. So I found an actual
pillow with a hole on Amazon
If you like the "adjustable" shredded foam concept and just don't want to support the MyPillow guy, I've had this pillow for 3ish years now, and it's still going strong. I've been super pleased with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EINBSEW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_rJWbGb2DR5BEF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I have four of these from Amazon on my bed and love them. They retain shape really well and for someone who likes their pillows a bit more firm, they're great.
This post actually brings up something: taking care of your things if you want them to last a long time, especially something like pillows. I have four pillows that I've owned for 20 years. They are filled with shredded memory foam. They've lasted this long because I can wash them (hand wash, cold water, dry flat) and I have top of the line pillow case covers. I have $125 invested in each pillow, and I will have them for life because I will take care of them for life. I'm on my third set of covers.
This one has a high rating on Amazon.
I got these and have enjoyed them so far, reasonably priced:
Yes, they are worth it. I use them for my skin. I purchased the pillowcase for my sister and mom (both huge fans) because they both have alopecia (hair loss, some eyelash loss and some eyebrow loss). It is hard to say exactly, but since they have begun using these products, they've both told me theyve noticed a difference in eyelashes and eyebrows (not sure if this is because theyre falling out less often but I'm so happy with their experiences.
If you get one, I highly recommend the website, Dermstore. I don't know why it's not way more popular because it has everything. They have better deals than Ulta or Dermstore, rewards points, 20 percent off coupons like every time you order, and more Discounts.
Anyhoo. I recommend purchasing the "Slip" silk pillowcase and "Slip" silk eye mask (it's a good deal if you purchase them together. Just make sure that you buy the right laundry wash for them and only hand wash them because they are very gentle.
Also, recommend this pillow. I know it looks weird and uncomfortable but it molds to your head and neck shake and becomes incredibly comfy. I've had mine for... 3 years?
The right side of my face is saggier (eye. mouth, cheek). Doctors have asked me if I had Bells Palsy at some point.
There's not much that can be done besides certain cosmetic projecedures (like botox) which I believe are temporary.
In order to not make things worse, I personally use the "Your Face Pillow" (it works. it looks funny but it works.
There's also silk/satin pillow case pillows (I like the brand "slip", change change side of the face you sleep on nightly. Another thing I do sometimes (if I dont have my special pillow, is I will place my pillow under my face in a way so that only my mouth is on my pillow, my hands are clasped and held under my nose. This way my mouth and the rest of my face are at the same level...if that makes sense?
EDIT: the pillow is called Your Face Pillow
My spouse and I have Chiro-Flow pillows. You fill them with water to the desired firmness. These things have absolutely changed our lives. When we travel by car, we bring our pillows. When we travel by plane, we lament that we couldn't (didn't) bring our pillows.
The ones we purchased from our chiropractor (a good one, not a quack) have a lifetime guarantee. If they ever leak (which hasn't happened in the 2+ years we've had them) we need to bring the cap into the chiropractor's office. They'll deal with the company to get us a new pillow free of charge.

Cheap customizable fluff pillow. $60 for queen
I have this one and it's absolutely amazing. Comfort level is that of your old stuffed animal from when you were a child. Feels so good.
I've got a buckwheat pillow that helps keep head and neck secure and in place throughout the night. It's not soft, and takes an adjustment, but being able to minimize movement in the night makes a huge difference for me.
It's also refillable so I can get it really plump so that my neck is level and the pressure is taken off my shoulders. I usually have a line of pillows running along my back, too, which helps me shift some more weight on them so it's not all on my side.
I've also tried sleeping with a pillow under my ribs before but it was actually really painful for my ribcage. Maybe it wasn't flat enough but I sleep fine without it on my Purple mattress (also recommend).
I literally just bought this in King size with my shiny new Prime membership:
Is there any difference? I don't mind paying a premium for better quality. So far in what I've researched, they seem identical. One just has more reviews with a 1 star advantage as well. I still have time to cancel.
After surgery I used this https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B073Z3ZQRQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to keep me from rolling onto my side, and something like this to make back sleeping more comfortable https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B081QM8CXH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Compré esta en amazon cuando el dólar estaba a 2000. Ahorita sale muy cara pero si se la puede permitir, sería muy buena opción.
Ugh yes this is me. I've had to make several changes in the past year to help alleviate the headaches and sore muscles in my neck. I got the Coop Pillow because you can add or remove the fill to adjust it. I've also gotten a standing desk which helps alleviate the forward-head thing most folks do when sitting down. I also do chin tucks and I do some manual release of my sub occipital muscles with a tennis ball or this (overpriced but helpful) knuckle thingy.
I’ve been on the hunt for a new pillow for awhile but everything felt too high or stiff or too fluffy. I found this Coop pillow where you can take or add fluff to however you like.
I got the Coop pillow and you can add or remove the microfiber fluff inside so that its the perfect pillow.
I'm a stomach sleeper and have a bad neck due to a disc replacement and this pillow was a godsend!
It’s called “your face” available on Amazon. I love it !! https://www.amazon.com/YourFacePillow-Beauty-Pillow-Sleeping-Prevention/dp/B073Z3ZQRQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=JYDU90IN4RYM&keywords=back+sleeping+pillow&qid=1657712670&sprefix=back+sleeping+pillow%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-4&ufe=app_do%3Aam...

Products generally aren't allowed to be discussed by low karma users like op as they are indistinguishable from bots or product shills. And we have alot of those behind the scenes. Its fine since you asked for it
This pillow did the trick for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073Z3ZQRQ
It worked right away, too -- I went from *never* sleeping on my back to never not sleeping on my back. It's been years! Def recommend
I had really nagging neck pain for a long time and I was on the verge of trying a chiropractor, then I saw someone on Reddit recommend this pillow. You can remove the stuffing, or add more depending on how you sleep. It literally stopped my neck pain immediately and I haven’t had any since. I’ve been recommending it to everyone. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EINBSEW/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_i_8T6VGA3WAV9B98A9WAHA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
For me I needed to be able to bend my knees and at my hips (because that's how I slept for like 25 years on my side), and have my lower back feel supported, so I stuck a normal pillow under my knees for support there and bought a raised pillow like this, and used my normal pillow on the top edge of that. I found that comfortable and sustainable for me with practice (probably helped to start the habit of making sure I'm really physically tired when going to bed for the first couple weeks or so). My rule was my shoulders need to be basically parallel/flat to the wedge pillow, but I can still sort of twist or change 'sides' or do whatever with the rest of my body.
Good luck! I thought it would be impossible for me when I first tried it but the extra pillows made it and now that's just my normal, comfortable way of sleeping. I think sleeping on my back feels best for my face, chest, and upper back, although side (I'll still lay on my side sometimes, just not allowed to sleep on it) can be nicer if I have a full stomach or cramps or something.
I bought one from Amazon for maybe $40 and it works great…you absolutely do NOT have to spend $100-$200!!! Here is an example:

I use this pillow: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ET9TXQ/
Takes some time to get used to but helped me a lot. Only downside is it doesn't last very long, usually have to replace mine every 6 months or so.
Even if you don't have sleep apnea, it is still usually harder to breathe while lying on your back and this could affect your ability to stay in that position comfortably. Are you reasonably sure you're breathing easily exclusively through your nose while asleep?
I've used a night guard before and found that I tend to breathe through my mouth more often while using it because it creates a bit of extra space between the teeth and pushes the lips slightly forward. This seemed to reduce the quality of my sleep, at least at first.
I can't say I've completely solved the problem myself, but you might look into mouth taping for a while as a way to train yourself to breathe more comfortably through your nose while sleeping.
I've also had some luck with this style of pillow that prevents you from turning to the side when I absolutely had to sleep on my back due to an injury but ultimately decided against using it regularly.
Ah, okay. Go ask him to take a look and see whether the piercings can be saved. If not, you’ll know what to do different next time.
I recommend using a travel pillow or a Pillow With A Hole if you tend to sleep on that side. I use a PWAH myself and it’s helped tremendously.

These pillows from Amazon
I saw a post on Tiktok. I use to have headaches and neckpain even morning with the pillow i was using, but it stopped since using these.
got that one plus the 3 set pillow case +~$20
Is that the side you sleep on? You may want to consider using a travel pillow or a Pillow With a Hole. Lobes are probably not healed yet after 3.5 months.
I attached a link in the last comment. Is it not working?
The pillow I bought was called the YourFace Pillow Beauty Pillow from Amazon

I have a bed that I can tilt up so keeping myself propped up wasn't an issue but I did see that Amazon also has wedge pillows that would help with that if you don't want to stack pillows to keep your head at an elevated position. You can just type "wedge pillow" and a lot of these will populate!
At first I had one of those husband pillows + a travel neck pillow, but sleeping sitting up vertically while good for swelling was pretty unbearable, I also felt like gravity was pulling my lower jaw open. Not ideal.
So I switched things up:
I put a pillow under my mattress creating an elevated faux tempur-pedic bed situation;
Put a thick pillow on top of that;
Then added one of these silly looking pillows to stop me rolling and 10/10 would buy again. It keeps you very much in one place, and while it's a lil pricey, it's been SO comfy that I might even continue to use it. Apparently it stops you getting facial wrinkles so thats always a bonus.
I am a stomach sleeper who HATES back sleeping and I haven't rolled over once in almost 4 weeks post op.
Oh also! To stop slipping, make sure you wear cotton pyjama pants / have cotton or linen sheets on your bed. Avoid anything silky because thats a recipe for slipping.
We got these for our guest bedroom and they are nice

I have only had it a month, but I have been pretty happy with the Casper Original pillow (also sold at Target). I still need a slightly less foofy pillow under it, but I like to be pretty high up. It’s also sold at Nordstroms which has an incredible return policy if you really don’t like it. I also considered this pillow from similar posts, but isn’t get it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYU7V4S/
I've seen people mention a special pillow with a hole in it for your ear so it's not against the pillow. Can't vouch for it but there is one review from a tinnitus sufferer: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Pillow-Hole-Your-Friend/dp/B00NCDSINI
I’m not a physical therapist but this pillow has done wonders for my neck and lower back as I’m normally a side sleeper. It basically allows me to sleep on my back with having the comfort of my head supported on the sides (which is why I like side sleeping).

These are close to the ones I have or have used. I actually had two slightly different styles of the foam one.
The first is closer to a regular pillow, filled with regular stuffing not memory foam. And slightly less structured. I like both styles, both have been helpful when I have more issues with my neck which can very much feed into TMJ issues. I think it also helps keep you on your back which is very helpful for me when I am having more issues with tmj symptoms/ avoiding side sleeping which has put to much pressure on one side of my jaw and can cause it lock up.
I use a pillow I bought on Amazon called: Your Face.
It is really for back sleeping, but I can also shift to my side a bit, and it still keeps my from crushing my face at night even in that position. As a back sleeping pillow I find it great. The way it is designed, it really helps you feel comfortable. I toss and turn less as well. I def shift to the side sometimes, so it is not constraining or anything. $80. My face is no longer dented in the morning. lol
I purchased the following wedge pillow and case in January 2021 and it helps. I use it every night and it is just as firm as the day it arrived.
I bought my husband this and almost three years in, it's still pretty good. (It's on sale now. Hmmmm.) For myself I bought this, and I'm not really happy with it. It has great reviews.
Pillow needs are pretty individual. Someone here explained that memory foam doesn't support as well because it molds to your shape, whereas loft cradles you. That seems to be true in my case. I covet my husbands pillow.
My PT recommended this one for me post-injury, since it doesn’t cause your knee to bend. Not sure if I’ll use it post-op though.

I got this one but any will do
I don’t even get the heartburn anymore and have just kept using it for the snoring
I am only wearing a compression garment and not foam or a binder. Wondering if I will need those too? I’m 43 and have had a kid so my skin is definitely a bit more elastic than it once was! 😂 I will ask my doc when I see him this week. This is the wedge pillow I got. Nothing fancy but I definitely prefer sleeping with it than without it. I had a good day yesterday and thought I was ready to try sleeping without it and woke up super sore and put it back on the bed. Haha There’s something about the slight incline that seems to help with the soreness and it’s also firmer than my bed’s mattress so maybe that helps.
So this probably isn't BIFL quality but this is the pillow I have. The bottom part is water so it contours to your head/neck and the top is a soft layer. You can adjust how much water is in the bottom to change the height and firmness. I bought it because I sleep on my back/side/stomach and needed a pillow that would smush to my desired shape and fill that cavity under my neck no matter what position I was in.
Grab yourself one of these bad boys.. or you know something like it, maybe a bit cheaper.

I also sleep with a pillow between my legs to help alleviate stress on my back. Just wanted to mention since you mentioned back pain.
My regular pillows I use are these:
This one has been good. I purchased the mid-loft for my husband. It’s still nice a fluffy but with support. Like the best of down and foam. I’d like to steal it :) it’s pricey for us, but it was a holiday splurge.
I have this one and find it underwhelming. It’s basically a compacted lump unless I beat the hecc out of it. However, the foam is not smelly, nor has it discolored after a year. Gets tons of reviews, but it’s even pricier.
What do you like in a pillow?
You should sleep on your back. These two pillows helped me a lot -

I use a combination of 3 different pillows to form a wedge, but the most important pillow is this one:
It's adjustable-- they give you extra filling, and you can add or remove it to make it the exact shape and density that you want it to be.
Sooo I am about 2.5 weeks post rhino. Sleeping upright was rough but my surgeon told me after a few days that I could sleep on my back again. I was a little freaked out by this and I was worried about ruining my result so I bought this so I wouldn't accidentally sleep on my nose:
The pillow works great at keeping me from sleeping on my nose.
My nose was packed with splints and stuff and it sucked not breathing through the nose but the pain meds helped. Getting them pulled out was slightly uncomfortable but the feeling after was like a dopamine rush with being able to breathe. Good luck!! I was really worried about whether I was making the right choice for my rhinoseptoplasty but I am really happy I did it.
There a variety of styles / shapes of cervical neck pillows. It might be worth trying another. I recently order two on Amazon that are foam and looks like a regular cotton filled pillow with an oval stitched into the middle to create the dip. I linked one similar to mine. That style make work better for you.

Coop Home Goods - Eden Adjustable... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYU7V4S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Warning it's kinda expensive for a pillow and Amazon is evil so maybe try buying it direct?
It is not foam per se, not like memory foam. The filling is basically shredded foam though and it has a zipper so you can take filling out. It also comes with a bag of extra filling to stuff it more if you want. I took probably about 20% out and it's great.
I'm a stomach sleeper so it was a huge struggle finding a good pillow. Memory foam was too firm and pushed againsty jaw all night and put my neck I a weird position. But "flat" pillows basically had me lying on the mattress which didn't give enough support. This let me make my own perfect zone.
Using ear shower caps will not allow your piercings to breath properly which is essential for proper healing. I recommend this pillow or one like it. I bought it for my daith and it has worked really well for me.

I call my SO's pillow the fascist pillow.
It's still their favorite out of comfort.
Meanwhile, I got a pair of these bad boys. Most comfortable pillow I've ever owned, but they're not for everyone. Kinda noisy, and firm.
Here's a pillow that helps encourage you to sleep on your back (but still allows you to sleep on your side if you want) - also MUCH cheaper than the other one posted, although is more the style of their 2nd one: YourFacePillow - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B073Z3ZQRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_fabc_5C3974MMV6E86K0S2YZA
This, combined with a wedge pillow, made a big difference for me - I was getting premature crow's feet REALLY badly. I notice a huge difference in my wrinkles the next morning if I sleep without these pillows. The best thing you can do for your wrinkles AND other health aspects is sleep on your back, after all! But for me, it wasn't that comfortable or effective until I used a wedge pillow and a pillow under my knees. Now I'm, like, 80% a back sleeper. I used to be maybe 20% a back sleeper!

This, combined with a wedge pillow, made a big difference for me - I was getting premature crow's feet REALLY badly. I notice a huge difference in my wrinkles the next morning if I sleep without these pillows. The best thing you can do for your wrinkles is sleep on your back, after all! But for me, it wasn't that comfortable or effective until I used a wedge pillow and a pillow under my knees. Now I'm, like, 80% a back sleeper. I used to be maybe 20% a back sleeper!
Thanks for the tip! I saw a few models on Amazon. Is it this one? Coop Home Goods - Premium Adjustable Loft Pillow - Cross-Cut Memory Foam Fill - Lulltra Washable Cover from Bamboo Derived Rayon - CertiPUR-US/GREENGUARD Gold Certified - Queen https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EINBSEW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2JYR7KKVWHM7782EN9PZ
I might have to try it out and hoping this may just be the pillow that helps me!
Does it have any coolant effect?
...bump behind your head? What does that mean?
My best guess is you're looking for a more sleep-on-your back pillow, with an indentation for the head, like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ET9TXQ/
Nice! Suits you well. I also thought it would hurt more based on what I had read online, and I was afraid of the "crunchy" sound everyone kept describing. It did hurt, but not as much as people said, and I didn't hear any crunching at all lol.
If you're a side or belly sleeper I recommend this pillow. It's worked great for me.

If you have a soft airplane neck pillow start there. That’s my go to when it’s real bad. (I suffer from fibro, hEDS, and have recently had a neck fusion from c5-7 from very early onset severe degenerative spine issues; due to hypermobility)
I just recently got this travel pillow Cabeau brand airplane pillow that’s really great.
Airplane pillows are kinda depressing though. Before the fusion I had a regular shaped pillow from my chiropractor to support the cervical spine but you can find it on Amazon etc. I literally could not sleep without it; I took it everywhere. Core Products Tri-Core Cervical Support Pillow, Standard Firm - Full Size https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ET9TXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_92CMHDGSYSCJ1WDHBPQS
Also; it’s not cheap; but a mattress can also deeply affect neck pain. The difference in my chronic pain in my neck and spine was dramatically changed when we bought a really nice Sealey posturpedic mattress as an upgrade from a good but craigslisted mattress from my 20’s. Game changer; but not cheap. But very much worth it.
I'm a side-sleeper who got many bad neck/headaches from the zillion different pillows I tried. The one which has finally helped decrease them is this one:
You can adjust the amount of fill and you can push the hulls into whatever position you need them.
It is not a super comfy pillow, but the size and ability to adjust the shape make up for losing the softness.
I too recommend the wedge pillow everyone else is describing for this situation (been there). Putting a pillow like this one on top of the wedge or whatever pillow situation she has going also really really helps because it helps keep you from rolling side to side when sleeping on your back. Finally, a long pillow or body pillow on each side of her body will allow her to sort of lean to one side or the other without ending up rolling on top of the drain, which also helps. Give your momma our best and reassure her that the drains are a very temporary situation! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073Z3ZQRQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
These are the bomb. We tested dozens. If someone is unhappy with firmness, you can take out or add some of their filling which you can buy extra and just store some in a sealable bucket.
Yeah, and his are like... 15 dollar pillows... not a cent more. 30 for two is what he should be charging.
I have these and they are freaking awesome and have kept up over a year of fluffines.
People on here LOVE the purple harmony. I hate that freaking grid and how it feels (and so does my husband who has no health issues) but I am always in the minority about posts about that. So worth trying. I also see the Bear pillow recommended a lot on threads where Purple Harmony is recommended, so might be worth checking that.
There's a company called Pluto that will design you a pillow for like $90 or something. They're fabulous. Redesigned for me twice for free and I ultimately returned for free, but I only returned because I have nerve issues in my head and could feel the core still when asking for a plush pillow. You could get a firm one and sounds like firm core wouldn't be a problem. You fill out a basic quiz for them but if you email them right after they'll go all the way for you. I emailed them about my bed plushness and the exact measurement of my shoulder to neck. They REALLY customize.
This is an iffy recommendation for you because it does initially feel soft, but it's NOT memory foam and doesn't mold to you. The gel inside provides excellent side sleeper support. Again, I was too sensitive for the gel support but my husband doesn't even notice it & has swiped them in favor of the $150 pillows we have. Have had them almost a year now and they've held up.

Just get returnable ones. Like if you try a tempur pillow (which I wouldn't recommend to you based on your likes but as an example), buy it from Amazon not tempur. Pillow shopping is worse than mattress shopping IMO.
Oh, sorry to bombard you but also the Beckham hotel pillows on Amazon. They seem like they should be shit because they're so cheap, but they're great - soft but supportive. Again I could feel the gel because I'm very sensitive but my husband took them and uses them over the $150 pillows we have. They ALWAYS sleep cool. Never had an issue with them. They're supportive on your side but soft enough that they'd compress on your back - actually that might be perfect for you.

The only suggestion I can really think of is getting a wedge pillow. They can get kind of expensive, but personally a $40 pillow that might help with acid reflux might be worth it.
The pillow elevates the top half of your body so the acid doesn't creep up your throat.
In terms of laying down try getting a wedge pillow
and another one to elevate your feet. Great for alleviating lower back pain.
I like this one, bought it last year and am very happy with it.
You can adjust the stuffing to your liking and also add more, they include a large bag of it with the pillow.
I was the same. My life changed when I got a water pillow. It’s got a layer of padding on top of a water bladder that you can fill to your desired capacity, changing the firmness and feel of it. It’s the perfect combination of support and squish. Bonus: It never gets too hot and I don’t ever need to flip it.
I taught myself to sleep on my back. I used to be a side sleeper and I'd wake up with wrinkles cutting through my eye brows and a crease down my chest. Since I started sleeping on my back, no more wrinkles and I also don't wake up with numb arms. I think my posture actually looks better with since my shoulders don't curve over when I sleep.
It was hard to change. I got a u shaped pillow that kept my head upright and that helped a lot. (kinda like this one) I also started sleeping on a wedge as well and I don't wake up with a puggy face anymore.
I like Tri-Core pillows, they take a few nights to get used to but the cradle for your neck is awesome.

I've found a buckwheat pillow does the job quite well. conforms to and supports the jaw, head, and neck. You have to get the fill 'just right' though.
Had teh same buckwheat and inner case since 2014. The quilted cotton pillow case wore out around 2019 and had to be replaced.
I'm a side sleeper with a pillow-top mattress, which is comfy, but not so good for my back/neck. I used to get bad tension headaches a few times a week from my bed. I tried a bunch of different pillows and this one has been the best solution: (Beans72 Organic Buckwheat Pillow - Japanese Size)
It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it totally cut down my headaches to maybe one or two a month. I still have a tense neck (eta: not only from the bed, but computer work too) and sometimes have a hard time getting comfortable with the pillow, but it's still better than the pain.
I also do chin tuck stretches, which help. This is cued to show a standing one, but there are videos to show how to do it laying down while using a towel for support.

When side sleeping, try doing the fetal position with a pillow between your legs, that helps me too.
You're making my neck hurt just thinking of this. You should get an adjustable pillow if your neck needs less elevation from the pillow.
i just bought a “pillow with a hole in” but it hasn’t arrived yet so idk how well it works or how comfy
the original pillow with a hole in it
I had very bad neck pain a few months ago and bought this pillow which you fill water with and my pain subsided immediately right after. Maybe worth a shot.
I got the coop home goods pillow from Amazon.
That combined with a wedge pillow worked wonders for me, like the first time I can remember not waking up exhausted in years. I also have a foam wedge pillow and I don't snore at all abynore.
Thank you! something like this?
Well, we love her but also especially during these crazy times when we likely can't be there in person as much. Thanks again
I totally just bought one off Amazon and I love it! It helps me to sleep on my back more or at least not smoosh my face. I have it in my silk pillow case I already had. So far so good!

Your face pillow. Here is the link to the one I have. I also put a fluffy baby blanket under my pillow case since I love being snuggly, and as is the pillow is a firm latex pillow.
