First I'll answer a question you didn't ask, why did I opt for a graphics kit rather than just sticking with the default, as-delivered graphics?
It was just too much white -- a huge area of emptiness on both side panels. It needed something to fill that space. A sticker bomb would be fun, but would probably not look good in the long run.
I've never installed any graphics before, so was apprehensive about the process. I watched a few YouTube videos about the process and on a recommendation ordered some fluid to help with the application ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006RMC8J6/ )
I was concerned about quality of the graphics kit. As I said I've never done one before and rather than risk a $100+ eBay purchase I went with Husqvarna's own kit because I figured the quality would be better. Overall I the quality of the kit is very good, but it lacked any real documentation (I think they linked to a KTM website but it returned nothing specific to my Husqvarna graphics kit ). There was no label for each piece to tell me where it went. Sure it was easy to figure out by process of elimination, but it would have been nice. Also there is a very thin clear plastic protective film over all the pieces that is meant to be removed after it is applied. I didn't know this so was concerned that my kit was delaminating shortly after I installed it, but then realized what it was. It would have been nice to know.
The installation was easier than I expected. The application fluid gave me time to adjust the placement. I installed it over several days between meetings ( I've been working from home since COVID ).
Overall I'm happy with it. I've seen a few other 701s on the road near me, but mine has been the only one with a graphics kit, so I feel unique.
