I'm more concerned with the hip-hop records OP said he'll upload copies of. If you want to play a track and directly profit off of something that someone put 10, possibly 20 or more hours of work into and say "oh, this guy who needs to pay rent? this guy who needs to put food on the table? this guy who needs to make a living? nah, fuck him," you're not giving back to the scene, you're directly leeching off of it.

Even the earliest hip-hop tracks ever made are available to buy digitally. If you're ever going to play out a track, just buy it. Music has never been cheaper and more accessible than it is now.
