I’m currently using the Razer Blackshark V2. It’s has a volume dial and a mute button built in but it doesn’t have a way to change party/game audio levels. It’s a comfortable headset with a good mic however they aren’t very good for listening to music as they don’t get loud enough without a DAC.

All in all I’d recommend it for gaming but anything else I’d look elsewhere. Here’s a link.

Get this on. its 3.5 but comes with the usb dongle. Its sooooooo good and under $100

While I don't know the actual size of my head, I've got a large noggin as well, and I've been using this In case links aren't allowed, it's the Razer Blackshark V2 Gaming Headset. I've been happy with it and don't notice any discomfort while wearing it for hours at a time.

If you're wearing glasses and want something comfy for them, with a good mic. ( Which is also detachable)

I recommend going for the Razer BlackShark V2.

It's the one I have and as of recently I bought a good mic and my friends keep telling me that they don't see a big difference between the two.

( There are also mic settings and audio settings ) paying a bit more might be worth it for having an amazing headset. ( It's a bit more than 100$ in some places but that is it's basic price)

Mine has already 1 year and I still love it.

Cons: - bulky - doesn't have RGB or other colours - sometimes the sound settings in the program are confusing - one of the rails was weaker and one of the cups kept moving ( as of now this problem disappeared )

Pros : - really good sound - detachable microphone that sounds great with noice cancelation - comfy when wearing glasses - personally I like the pilot look of the headset - knob for sound on the headset and mute button for the mic

Oh, for this headset you also get a sound card which can be used with any headset, not only this one.

I’m in the market for a new headset to use with my PS5 and am currently leaning toward the Razer BlackShark V2s (just the standard wired ones, not the wireless Pros); they work with my budget, have the features I’m interested in, and seem pretty widely well-received, especially from a bang-for-the-buck viewpoint.

I’m relatively new to the world of 3D audio and DACs and all that, however, so please excuse me if this is a dumb question! From my understanding, the BlackShark V2s can connect directly to the DualSense via the standard 3.5 mm jack or to the console itself via USB (the latter is where the DAC comes in)…

To experience the PS5’s 3D audio, which port should I be using? Or if they both support 3D audio, is either hookup superior to the other in terms of (3D) audio quality? I can’t seem to figure out if the DAC only works paired with software on a computer.

The biggest reason I didn’t get the pulse was how disappointed I was with the gold headset for ps4.

I just recently got the Razer BlackShark V2 and I love it. Price point is nearly identical, I believe. The audio makes me feel like I’m watching a movie on high quality speakers. People say I’m louder with less background noise.
