Everyone in my group bags Repel 100.

Anything with Deet is going to be good. Spray it on your pants legs, arms, etc...
You can also get 40% pure Pyrethin from Amazon. Mix that down to 0.5% and you can soak your socks, etc... In it. Once it dries, you are good to wear.
That is a great place but 100% correct on the mosquito issue. Last time there I used 30% deet (Repel 100) and had great luck with it, not a single bite. (this was the product https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004H89KFC/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=ultrarevie-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B004H89KFC&linkId=3d6fa83f23234cb8e8a40d7d87dc1e74 )
It's the active ingredient in most bug spray. They sell it in the 100% bottles in most "army stores" if you're near a major installation. If not here's the Amazon link

Get anti mosquito spray with DEET in there, works like a charm. I'm spraying myself every night before bed, because I really fucking hate mosquitoes and they wake me up. Since using it, I simply don't get bitten anymore

There’s a couple other brands too that Meijer and pretty much any outdoors store carry. They’re not pure deet, but 98%+.
This stuff is the best stuff I've found to keep horseflies away. It's cancer in a can, 98.11% DEET, but my God it does the trick. Mosquitos might still find you, but they'll just hover over your skin without landing. In thick areas on hot days I've found that hundreds of mosquitos beating their wings around me actually do a decent job of cooling me off! :P
Dumb question. What's the difference between that and this? http://www.amazon.com/Repel-Insect-Repellent-Single-Bottle/dp/B004H89KFC/ref=pd_bxgy_468_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0NX62K91H7N3JMGD3M75
I'm traveling abroad soon and want to be prepared.
25 years of experience fishing boating & hiking through heavy mosquitos in warm wetlands tells me this: Use 98% DEET product. Like this one:
Avoid getting it in your eyes and mouth, it'll numb you out (but it won't kill you or make you sick).
Also, it will melt some synthetic fibers (polyester) and cheap ink.
My husband usually gets all of the attention from the mosquitoes and this stuff has been a lifesaver when we're camping: https://www.amazon.com/Repel-Insect-Repellent-Spray-4-Ounce/dp/B004H89KFC
Those no-see-ums will give Avon SSS the finger. You need max deet
Repel 100 Insect Repellent, 4 oz. Pump Spray, Single Bottle 98% Deet
Yes, buy this stuff: https://www.amazon.com/Repel-Insect-Repellent-Single-Bottle/dp/B004H89KFC Its great, lasts for 10 hours and doesn't burn. I ran out in cambodia and bought stuff there and it burned so much in comparison :D
If you need the strongest insect repellent on the planet (Pure DEET), you should buy this product
I'm not a shill or paid to say this but I haven't gotten a bite while using this stuff, and I do a lot of camping and hiking.
It's safe for human use but melts plastics, so be a little wary.
No Zika for me!
