What is Reddit's opinion of Republic Wireless, Unlimited Data Only SIM Kit (30 Day SIM Kit)?

Republic Wireless is experimenting with a data-only SIM card that's available on Amazon. They offer a 30-day card ($30) and a 90-day card ($75) that gives 20GB of LTE data (from T-Mobile) throttled to 256kbps after it's used up. For 90-day SIM, you get that same amount of data for each 30 day period (the 20GB resets at 31 and 61 days). The clock on the cards starts when the SIM card is delivered, so this isn't something you could stock up on.

I'm not presently seeing any 90-day cards available, but with this being a trial/experiment, I've been seeing the inventory pop in and out of stock week-to-week.
