sounds like you need either a full face mask, or a chin strap to keep your mouth closed. pretty common.

'approved for nasal' sounds more like an insurance issue. you might have to buy one yourself if the insurance only covers one system per six months or whatever.
I use the Philips Respironics Chin Strap: https://www.amazon.com/Respironics-Premium-Chin-Strap-P-R/dp/B008MJW18K/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1EUPQ8EZYCWRD&dchild=1&keywords=respironics+chin+strap+for+cpap+users&qid=1609821352&sprefix=respironics+chin%2Caps%2C225&sr=8-5
It pulls the chin UP, and not BACK, so if you have a sensitive jaw, this might be a better solution than the resmed one.

Link is bad. Is this the one?

BTW, with Amazon links it's a good idea to strip off everything after the item number (in your example, it's the 10 digit one that ends TJ2). The rest is for referrals (that makes some people uptight) or history (that may give away personal info).
I wonder if a CPAP machine would help you.
They are for preventing sleep apnea. However some (most?) models have a humidifier so the air going in is moist.
You would need to consult a doctor to make sure using this without apnea would not cause any other problems. And you would likely have to pay out of pocket for the machine.
Or maybe something like this?

If your issue is with your mouth opening up and drying out, then something like a chin strap may be helpful. I've got something similar to this that I use at night to keep my mouth closed.

Pulls up, not back. Doesn't at all irritate my TMJ, so I have no jaw pain.
I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/Respironics-Premium-Chin-Strap-P-R/dp/B008MJW18K
10 bucks. Like I said, it aint fantastic but works for me. I don't use very high pressure on my machine and I don't like wearing alot of material on my head ... too hot.
I use the Respironics https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008MJW18K?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k0_1_11&amp&crid=2U2HWMZFEJT5T&amp&sprefix=respironics
I like that it doesn't pull my jaw back, and instead pulls it up towards the crown of my skull. Much easier on my jaw pain.
I use this guy: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008MJW18K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was replacing it about once every 6 months, and was only mildly satisfied, but I looked at the velcro strap and made a minor change and mine has been going strong since August with no rippage of the foam. Works great and it's super affordable.
Here are some other straps that may be better. Apparently Philips Respironics has one in their line of devices.

I've been using a Philips Respironics one. I can't say I like it better or worse than another...it's my first experience with a chin strap. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008MJW18K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I don't 'dis'like it...but I haven't found a reason to love it, either.
