I use a paddle brush blowdrier from Revlon (a literal godsent) and it cut down my blowdrying time by more than a half. Unfortunately for flat ironing, slow and steady wins the race.
If you have thick/course hair and struggle with the blow drying process, the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Styler is a God send. I got it after seeing Naptural85 use it on YouTube and then I watched a bunch of reviews. It just take so much time off from using a regular blow dryer and brush and there’s less tension on my hair and I get smoother more professional looking results. They also have another brush but that one has boar brittles and seems more appropriate for finer and less coarse hair.
Another tip is I pour water into one of those pump bottles like this and that’s how I dampen my beauty blenders. I prefer to clean them after I use them and I don’t want to get up in the middle of doing my makeup to re wet them, I used to use a spray bottle but that takes forever.
Bought the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer. Haven't used it yet because my hair is in braids but I can't wait to use it!

I have this one. I like it and it works much better than regular blow dryer. It gets a blown out look though. Not flat ironed look
