Parking sensors do become useless with anything back there. I disable them on my L322 Range Rover. If I’m going a few days or weeks I just remove the setup. Also you can get a locking hitch pin from harbor freight that makes it a quick affair to remove the assembly.
Get yourself an anti-wobbler to tighten up the slack, which is normal.
