Anyways thanks for the info, I try to avoid amazon since the shipping cost too much and generally makes it the same price as from the other shops with 5.5k tags.
main thing for weight is gonna be eating well. make sure u get healthy-ish food that is easy to make and tastes good i.e. turkey bacon (can be microwaved), eggs (can be cooked in ~10 mins), caesar salads (literally just mix a bag), canned soup (usually only have like 300 calories and is a go-to for me when im really lazy) and pickles (literally 2 cals). if u wanna have junky sweet stuff, have a case of diet soda handy. for working out, if you have a nitnendo switch, get ringfit adventure. if you have a vr headset, buy beat saber. if you don't have any of that, just walk and listen to podcasts. good luck gamer and make sure u get on blockers asap.
Do you have a Switch also by chance? There's a good workout game on the Switch called RingFit Adventure https://www.amazon.com/Ring-Fit-Adventure-Nintendo-Switch/dp/B07XV4NHHN/ They made it fun, like you battle monsters with workout moves and stuff. It's more stimulating than a typical workout game and you'll also get more a balanced workout than a game like Beat Saber (but Beat Saber is insaaaanely fun so I recommend that too) :)
Look up calorie intake. CICO (Calories In, Calories Out).
And try this, if you can. It's actually awesome.

I used to go to the gym before the pandemic, but now I enjoy doing body routine stuff at home. If you have a Nintendo Switch, I cannot recommend Ring Fit Adventure enough. I was skeptical at first, but it definitely kicks my butt from time to time and I'm always breaking a sweat.

- Sales, no. Despite its age the Switch sells so well that discounts on the console are virtually unheard of.
There is a bundle available on Black Friday at Best Buy with the console + Mario Kart 8 + 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online membership (see here on their website, though you can't buy it til Black Friday).
Great value but I have no idea how limited the stock will be, nor if other retailers will offer similar bundles. Keep an eye out for sure if you go this route.
- You can use the Joy-Cons individually so you each have a controller, or have one person use them as a pair (one in each hand, or attached to the Joy-Con grip that comes with the console).
Not a bad idea to purchase a separate controller that one of you can use, either the official Pro Controller or a third-party one like Hori or PowerA (they're not as high of quality, but cheaper).
Ring Fit Adventure is the big one, it comes with a couple of external accessories to use in exercise-style minigames. Just Dance, Sports Party, Fitness Boxing or the sequel also worth a look. Use Dekudeals.com to see if you can find better prices on any of those, I just wanted to give you links to check em out.
Mario Kart is a good start, if you manage to snag the bundle. For multiplayer/co-op games, look into: Luigi's Mansion 3, Super Mario Party, Diablo III: Eternal Edition, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Snipper Clips, Overcooked 1 or 2, Unravel 2.
For other must-plays, look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey (it has pseudo co-op - 1 player controls Mario, the other his hat), Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Celeste, Hades. Depends what you're both into but those titles are all worth checking out. Might also search the subreddit for general game / co-op recommendations. Lots of threads from the past with better lists than mine.

Don't overpay from second hand markets unless it's about MSRP. Too many people are getting screwed over on crazy prices.
