Fair enough. I think you might find more information on r/Xiaomi
It looks like they more commonly sell their robot vacs/mops under the Roborock monicker. I couldn’t find an owners manual for the 1C, I think it may be obsolete and replaced by the Roborock E4 vacuum/mop. On the E4 it looks like you need to use magnetic barrier strips.
