Superglue is great at closing cuts and gluing torn blister skin back on. It works reasonably well over a flat area of raw skin, but it tends to wear off relatively quickly as a top coat.
An alternative, especially for really beat up skin, is to coat it with a cut-to-fit piece of flexible tape. My favorite tape (which I use on my feet for distance running) is Rock Tape. It molds onto skin and works great as a protective layer over raw or hot spots. I've used it on right finger with good results after tearing it up on the DB.
