Polk is trash.. I'll remember that haha. I'm just looking to keep costs down haha. So after a bit of research, I'm looking for a sub that has RCA outputs and that's one thing I don't see with the Dayton 1000. You were right to say that the Emotiva's have RCA outputs but that puppy is like $200 for the 8". I found this rockville 10" sub which looks to have all the connections I need to connect my moinitos through the output using XLR cables. Would you recommend this as a standalone sub and then pass the monitors through this with XLR? I would probably run a 3.5mm jack to (2) 1/4" L/R from my PC to the sub and then individual XLR cables from the sub to each of the monitors.
