I haven't played the drums in 15 years, so I'm looking for an entry-level model under £500 that will fit in a small office, ideally electronic, can be folded, and ideally one that doesn't make much ground noise.
I was recommended the Roland TD-1KV as a space-efficient model, but thought it best to ask on here in case anyone knows better.
Finally, if I wanted to upgrade this model to have a double pedal setup, is that easy enough? I've watched a few YouTube videos and the Roland entry-level models seem easy enough to add extra symbols, kick pedals, and noise-dampening mats.

Looking at the V drums now, cheapest I can find the TD-1k for is £340, and then for the TD-1KV which is identical besides a mesh snare, is £400 on one weird website but way more than that on others, is it really that worth it?
