That would be fine for your hands, but those pedals are terrible and nothing like the feel of a real bass drum pedal hitting a bass head.
For your feet you could look into a trigger pad like this, this, or this. Or, for just a pad, this.
There's a certain amount of feedback from the attack & rebound that are necessary for more advanced techniques like the "heal/toe" and "the slide"
Playing bottom-spring-loaded pedals like the ones that come with GH:WT, ROCK BAND, and ION will actually cause you to develop some really bad habits. I tried to play World Tour with one for maybe a week, got fed up, and bought the destroyer pad so I could hook up my real bass pedal.
