I'm not much of a drummer, but I wouldn't bother putting any effort into acoustic kits. Beyond the noise thing which is the biggest issue, if you get an acoustic, you'll have to get mics as well, and if you want a good sound, you'll have to double your budget anyways. Maybe try this bad boy, but check out whats available used and at your local music stores. Music stores should give you an idea of what you like in a kit, then search for a similar kit used.
