There's a new book that came out called rootkits and bootkits, it covers updated malware threats not discussed in Practical malware analysis
Rootkits and Bootkits: Reversing Modern Malware and Next Generation Threats https://www.amazon.com/dp/1593277164/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ulo9Cb5FCS2HY
Malware Data Science is also worth a read if you can get it.
Has anyone bought Rootkits and Bootkits: Reversing Modern Malware and Next Generation Threats
As of now it has two good reviews and one very detailed negative review. I was anticipating the release of this book but now I'm not sure if I should buy it. Are there any other books/resources that are better?
I'd really recommend this book as it's got several chapters on the threats and the real-world exploits: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rootkits-Bootkits-Reversing-Malware-Generation/dp/1593277164
