Sabrent makes a 10 disc. I would buy one, but again, the price.
Ended up with a 4 bay for around $50 from Sabrent -used like new on Amazon.
Thanks for message. Wow, the cost really goes up with more than 5 bays.
If you have time, I'm wondering if maybe it would be a better first step for me to get a Sabrent 10 bay JBOD, and using my existing M1 MacMini as the brain, with UnRaid to give me the flexibility of maximizing my HDs of multiple different sizes?
I think the Sabrent will allow for me to have lots of HD slots, and let me have some money to my some HDs to keep in cold storage off-site, for the Blu-rays that was destroyed.
Yeah, I see your point.
Would it make sense to get something like below, and use unraid or truenas? I would really love to make use of my M1 MacMini to do the Blu-ray ripping and run my setup.
I was initially looking at Synology due to SHR, because I don't have many HDs of the same size and was hoping to use SHR, to make the most out of my storage. Is something like SHR possible with the programs/apps you recommended?
Sabrent just released a new 10-bay, 10 gbps jbod storage enclosure here
