What OS and filesystem are you using and what OS and filesystem is the recipient using?
A few people have suggested mergerfs. It works great on Linux but that means the receiver has to have that as well.
How do they connect the drives now? SATA dock? Insert into a desktop? External USB enclosure?
If 15TB is the max then you could put 4x4TB in something like this and combine with mergerfs for 16TB total. If your total set is only 10TB then just put 3 drives in. mergerfs should figure out how to span the drives. That is literally what it was made for.

So, idle i noticed 9-13w. Under stress test it was always around 50w, never above 52. The PSU is external 65w. I am running Unraid OS as the docker and vm management is a breeze. I am planning to get an external ssd enclouser with 4+ bays in the future so I can expand my storage options. Something like this: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0711L68MS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_1Y9A0AFN2R6BTCCWFJ62?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Reads the word 'Sabrent' on the top
googles 'Sabrent 4 SSD NAS'
My friend just bought this one and can’t stop talking about how much he likes it.
Sabrent USB 3.0 4 Bay 2.5” Hard Drive/SSD Docking Station with Fan (DS-4SSD) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711L68MS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S9VRESVEFCTHYFPYPNX1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You might find a 4 bay dock for $60-70 (something like this https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Drive-Docking-Station-DS-4SSD/dp/B0711L68MS?th=1)
But no way you will find a 4-bay RAID enabled enclosure for under $120 unless you find a great used bargain on eBay.
Yes, I was talking about having SSD's in there but should have mentioned 2.5" to avoid confusion.
I found this product from Sabrent online if there is a better built, durable device that offers faster connectivity I am open to ideas.
I thought of that as well. I would like to do that if i can get a two bay enclosure thats small and i can carry it together. I saw this but would like to have it all as one drive but this does not support hardware raid.
I would prefer to shuck them and put them in a bay or something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0711L68MS/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
But sadly that does not allow 15mm form factor.
I just want it to be accessible over the network, rather than externally. Like a NAS.

You can find cases similar to this for your purposes. This one I just have bookmarked.
I don't think you'll find a solution like this without using software. I'm basically doing exactly what you're describing with a combination of StableBit DrivePool + SnapRAID (on Windows). You can achieve basically the same thing on Linux with mergerfs + SnapRAID.
I'm using this HDD enclosure/dock. I bought 4x2TB 2.5" HDDs off ebay for about $60 each. Plug the HDDs in, format, create a pool with 3 of the drives (remaining drive is used for parity), point SnapRAID to the pool and parity drive (obviously there's a bit more to it than that), and you're done.
Here are some good resources for a setup like this:

It's pricey but it's what you'd need. USB 3.0 too.
Sabrent USB 3.0 4 Bay 2.5” Hard... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711L68MS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Why not get something like this device? The click retention isn’t an option, but this is effective. Or get a bunch of cheap drive enclosures with USB adapters. Like this one.

A minute of googling gave me these kinds of options:
Keyword: 2.5" SATA array
Amazon search suggestion seems to be 2.5" nas enclosure
Those might get you somewhere close to what you need.

Not much better than NAS pi, but there are drive enclosures that support up to four 2.5 inch drives ... Which you can then plug into, say, your pi for network access. Some examples:
2. https://www.newegg.com/orico-ds500u3-us-bk-dock/p/0VN-0003-00182
nice. There is also this:

Anybody using this to heat the room :-D
How old are these games?
https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Drive-Docking-Station-DS-4SSD/dp/B0711L68MS
For old games you could get something like that. It's an external USB hard drive enclosure that supports 4 harddrives. You take 4 old harddrives you have (or buy large new ones) and stick them in it and connect it via USB3.
This wouldn't be an ideal solution for any of "today's" games that already have long load screens. But if we're talking about install 5-10 year old games on there, it's a great solution. It's also a great solution for large movie collections as well as ebook and digital comic book collections since this media is completely independent of the pc and would work on any computer.
For more modern games you'll definitely want to go with an internal drive since a SATA3 connection is much faster.
You're ideal setting up be a 500gb - 1tb SSD to install windows and new games on. Then you'll want atleast 1 4tb HDD inside the PC to install less demanding games on. You'll have to live with having a bunch of drive letters because that's how it is with mass storage but you can certainly assign them however you like and even label them.
Here is the bay I was thinking of getting https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Drive-Docking-Station-DS-4SSD/dp/B0711L68MS/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=sabrent+usb+3.0+bay+2.5&qid=1571597654&sr=8-3
Thanks but i looking for some more beauty for the place where it will be (living room) . For that reason I don't mind to spend a couple of hundreds of bucks on it.
I like the dock of Sabrent https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Drive-Docking-Station-DS-4SSD/dp/B0711L68MS?ref=ast_p_ei but it's for 2.5" disks.
Thanks again for your time!
