I had a little bit of water left over from what I used to dilute it yesterday, so it's dechlorinated tap water that's been out for a night. I just tested it and the pH came out at 7.0
No shells or corals.
This is the substrate I have. I've heard sand is a good substrate with sponge filters, so at some point I'd like to either combine them with sand or replace them entirely.
Not sure if my water is hard or soft. My city says our water is rated as "moderately hard", but I don't have access to info about my building's water quality. I would guess it is the same as the city. The city reports an "average of 120 parts per million (ppm)"
I use bettasafe, but I also have some unused API stress coat I could switch to. Should I pick up some prime?
EDIT: here is the 2019 report on my water with nitrate and chlorine levels. the green column is my area https://imgur.com/a/AvX6DYc
