Rene Schwaller has some compelling stuff. In Sacred Science he gives a lot of evidence that the Egyptians (and man himself) are much older than we care to admit, and that they came up with many concepts of Hermeticism, rather than the Greeks.
That's all I have read on the subject, unfortunately. His books are hard to swallow. He gives a really, really slow build to his point, but when he does it hits you like a ton of bricks.
I guess superiority is just the idea that you're better than someone else based solely on gender or race. I live in the South and racism is still somewhat alive and well, but never, ever talked about beyond close friends and family. You never see a black person working for a small town shop owner. The black guys all hang out with each other here too. They're a small group but clearly want to stick together on nights out. It's very weird, now that I think of it. Either the racism is real, or it's just perceived. And I've never known a misogynist in my life (except for maybe my last boss), but the same general idea applies to misogyny as it does racism.
Here's a page on Egyptian gender roles and their treatment of couples: http://www.reshafim.org.il/ad/egypt/people/couples.htm
There are a lot of ways you can see into purer Egyptian thought indirectly. Euclid's Elements was influenced by Pythagoras, who studied in Egypt for 20 years I believe. Iamblichus wrote his own book that goes into Pythagorean number symbolism too. Writings of Ptah-Hotep are also available online; they are at least 2,000 years old. Finally, the Corpus Hermeticum contains some writings that, although are physically dated to 1 B.C., occasionally refer directly to Egyptian myth. It's safe to say that it's a mix between Greek and Egyptian philosophy.
Rene Schwaller is who I've been following in regards to unorthodox interpretations of Egypt. The man was a genius, and dedicated 12 years to studying the major temples in Egypt early last century. His book Sacred Science is one of my biggest inspirations in how I've viewed Egypt from such a standpoint.
I just hope it all goes to shit after I'm dead and gone. I don't know if I could survive in a collapsed society; I have Crohn's Disease.
