For your plants. Keep DE away from you and your pup, it's terrible for if you inhale it.
yes. They might be into some old wood in that deckwood.
Nuke them. This kind of stuff is safe enough and works. by stuff i just mean Diatomaceous earth. I hve neveer used the brand. it ws rndon. i have used it and boric acid with good results on them when applied near the nest. I bet there is a nest under there somewhere. just spread that stuff all over heavy out there.
RIP! I'm sorry
There is a special type of covers for your mattress to trap whatever is on/in your bed in there, so they wont be able to crawl out to feed at night. they usually like to hide in the seams of the mattress, but not limited to there, they an be in any crack or crevice of your bed and anything around your bed.
change your sheets, pillow cases. i heard diatomaceous earth works against them (Link), and I've used it myself but I'm by that point in my experience with them I'm not sure if its all the other measures..
bag everything up like you said, and maybe actually look in to one of those companies that basically heats the entire space up to kill em...
god speed and good luck!

I’d recommend this. We had a lot of earwigs/pincher bugs at our house because it’s new construction and no landscaping plus surrounded by dirt lots and it works AMAZING. I’d say head to the dollar store and get one of those oil or water sprayers that has a tube going to the bottom that you squeeze or what I did was get an old oval tube container and drill holes in the lid. Makes you house look a little dumpy since there will be white powder all around the perimeter but after a week just spray it off with the hose and then whenever you fertilize you’re lawn, spread some of this on the edge of you landscaping and you won’t be able to see it.
I use "Safer" brand DE (linked) but there's a lot of similar ones available. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D60GAW2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_vq3PFbFYDHM32
https://www.amazon.com/Safer-51703-Diatomaceous-Earth-Bed-Crawling/dp/B01D60GAW2 does a better job shredding the fuckers than stomping each one individually. Also Diatomaceous Earth is edible to humans but razor wire mixed with nanotube spikes to bugs.
Looks like you gcan get some from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Safer-51703-Diatomaceous-Earth-Bed-Crawling/dp/B01D60GAW2/
i did a little research and i found your problem may be root maggots.
my grandmother uses a product called diatomaceous earth for all kinds of things, one great use is for this, you sprinkle it around and on the plant and it will keep egg laying adults away.
what it is is basically microscope razor blades that will cut the bugs up. they hate it. its very fine to us and just feels like powder. some people even eat it when they have intestinal parasites.
