For tasting and nosing, definitely the glencairn, as so many others have said. Unfortunately, it's not the easiest/nicest to drink out of when not reviewing. If it's in your budget after some glencairns or you just want to get some fun whiskey glasses to drink from with friends, I'd say try rocking glasses.
