I use a Samson G-Track Pro and am really happy with it. It comes with a stand to just have it on a table, I only recently moved it onto a boom arm. It's sturdy, has the different recording settings and physical buttons, which I'm a big fan of.
I have a Samson G-Track Pro that I'm very happy with. It's pretty sturdy and robust and has physical buttons. However, it probably is outside of your budget.
I got the Samson G-Track Pro recently and am super happy with it.
It's supposed to be real good value for its price and so far I'm not disappointed. It was just plug and play, you have nice controls on the mic itself, it has multiple modes, and is you want you can actually add an instrument into the mic directly as well!

For a cheap usb setup with a fig8 pickup pattern, you won't have that many choices.

You should be able to put this on the table between you or get a stand and hang it above the table if there will be a lot of table noises.

https://www.amazon.com/Samson-G-Track-Pro-Studio-Condenser/dp/B075KL6ZLC my persnal mic, but the issue is a lot of the mics are either from 3rd parties and waaay too expensive. or the professional mics which arn't very cheap either.
