I used Samsung 32gb x2 DDR4 2666MHz 260 pin SODIMM. However, i wouldn't purchase 1 32gb stick but instead 2 16gb sticks that way you can run dual channels instead of single. (I can't answer the SSD question. I just know it's a single 512GB SSD component)

Good choice, I've got that same NUC. And if you ever need to beef up your VMs you'll be happy to know that despite Intel's spec sheet, it actually supports 64GB. I've got two of these in mine, but I'm sure others will work as well.

If you've only got one slot, this single stick would give you 32 GB of RAM. Idk if it's the BEST option, I just found it quick at the top of an Amazon search. It's 2666MHz, and most desktop RAM is at least 3200MHz. But, laptop RAM is a bit more limited because it's smaller, so that might be standard across the board atm.

My problem is I found this module in amazon, but it says it runs at 2666 MHz, and via dmidecode I found my memory modules run at 2133 MHz, so not sure it's the right one.

I'm looking for 2x32GB laptop RAM to put in a new laptop I'm planning to buy soon. 32GB SODIMMs aren't really available in Canada. Lenovo Canada chargers $965 to upgrade from the base configuration to 64GB, or I can buy it from amazon.com (not .ca) and it's $538.14 after adding import fees and converting to Canadian dollars. That's a pretty big savings. The RAM is sold by a third party and fulfilled by Amazon. I've never bought from amazon.com though I buy from amazon.ca all the time, is there any reason I shouldn't buy this from amazon.com?

If you upgrade the RAM and SSD yourself it will probable be cheaper. Buy it with 8GB RAM then buy 2x32GB. I found this on Amazon I don't know anything about that particular seller but that's the RAM you'd need, as far as I know only Samsung currently makes 32GB SO-DIMMs. For the SSD there are lots of options for a 1TB drive, you'd have to install the drive the install Windows etc.
Not the answer you’re looking for but sharing it anyway as you might have not considered it. I’m not sure about your reason why you would want a 16gb x16gb config but for mine I got 16gb stock and bought a 32gb. The reason is so I could keep my exisiting RAM and if I plan to upgrade in the future then I just replace the 16Gb with another 32gb. I got mine from amazon. I decided to go for the T490, right now both the T480 and T490 are the same price for te base config with core i7 and WQHD. But the T490 has a slightly faster turbo boost and has a brighter display.

Good question! The compute nodes are 5x Intel NUC Skull Canyon NUC6i7KYK. All of the specs say they can only be fitted with 32GB ram but it's possible to mod them with 64GB ram.

Same here, I went with the i7, and the battery life is incredibly long, even longer than the macbook air (w/ i5 cpu) I sold to help pay for the Lemur Pro.
I too have seen some of the benchmarks of the i5 vs i7 for the Lemur Pro, if you want to save the $199 difference and allocate that to upgrade more memory or storage its not a bad idea.
When I ordered my Lemur, I went with the nvme 250gb for +$50 and stayed with the base 8gb's of memory and bought the same 32gb stick memory they put in the Lemur Pro on Amazon for $117 instead of paying $225. So if you went with the i5 vs i7 you could easily upgrade to 40gb's total and still have $105 for a second nvme drive or just save the $$$.
Since the power consumption between the two are pretty close I dont "think" your going to sacrifice alot of battery life going with the i7 vs i5, but Im not a super geek when it comes to cpu's. Someone else can chime in here, I can only tell you my experiences with the i7 like the post above.
Here are the specs including power for the (2) cpu's offered in the Lemur Pro. Note the i7 has a higher top clock speed and more 2mb's more cache. Also the 32gb stick I bought is listed below that.
Good luck my friend, buying the laptop is easy...waiting for it is the hardest part!...btw from order to to my door was a week from California to Michigan w/ normal assembly time and 2 day shipping via UPS and that was a month ago, w/ school now back in session your results may vary.
PS - Im getting about 12-14 hours w/ i7 w/ balanced mode on battery with light coding, some youtube videos, surfing, mail, etc. nothing too intense.

Huge difference 64 gb of ram keeps this laptop current. Pair it with a 1 or 2 tb ssd and upgrade the wifi antennae to a wifi 6 chip with bluetooth 5 or whatever and it is a sweet pc

Only working 32 GB SO-DIMM I know of is this Samsung one.

That said, this DIMM is from another machine and the T14 AMD supports 3200Mhz RAM, so i'll be looking to upgrade now that i've confirmed the 32GB module works.

Was looking into this lately myself and found your post. These where the options i was looking at for the longer term aspect. Its used as a work horse and not really much gaming sadly.. any one know if these work well and tick the boxes?
Also understand the SSD would be sole, so the existing one would hae to be replaced, so not sure if simpler to just add a 1TB extra, open to opinions and maybe continues to help OP in his decision process.

$2,334 + $375 + $350 = $3059 You get a monster GPU with 16 GB and you pay $1400 less. Thinkpad give you Options Apple does not you have to pay for their ridiculous upgrade prices and can't buy parts for 1/4 of the cost and install it yourself. Not only that the SSD you can remove it from the Thinkpad and put it in another future laptop or even Desktop in the future. If the Macbook SSD or RAM dies you got a dead Motherboard period and if you are out of guarantee you are screwed. Another option is the P53 which have a superior Screen to the P73.
The trick with Thinkpad is 1) Buy on Sale (back to school Summer or Black Friday) 2) Buy with Corporate Discount if you want it, you can PM me.
More than likely they're inter-changable because they're DDR4. Usually you can tell what the speeds are by looking at the sticker that's on the RAM that has the barcode.

it's surprising how many sellers ship to morocco nowadays, amazon gives you a rough estimate of the import fees and you deposit them when you're checking out, if the actual fee exceeds the estimation you don't have to pay that extra according to their policies too
when it comes to their shipping it's most usually during the timeframe they give you on the product page so they're pretty reliable thus far
