you can also get one of the ultrawides. its like having a 2 27" monitor setup but no bezel. i got the "workplace" one so the curve isn't quite as severe. I plan to wallmount soon https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-49-inch-Odyssey-FreeSync-LC49G95TSSNXZA/dp/B088HH6LW5/ref=asc_df_B088HH6LW5/
I just placed an order for a G9 yesterday, this was the lowest price I could find. I'd like to purchase a 3090 and 5950xt, but will probably wait till early next year when finding one doesn't require wearing out my F5 key. Who knows, by then the 3080Ti might be out.
Go big or go home.
But in all seriousness, you probably can spend much less on a good 1440p monitor.
Yes, the Samsung G9. Originally I got whatever the less curved Samsung was but found it was annoying to have something that wide without more curve (the edges of the screen were look too far from my face or something)
congrats on living off your parents and overpaying for a monitor.. Much better options for the price. Looking at your posts you clearly know nothing about PCs anyway since you want to ask microsoft why flight sim runs poorly. lol dumb fuck.

Samsung G9

I picked it up on the black Friday/new version release sale for around 900. I wouldn't pay current prices for it but super ultra wide is amazing.
Average fps is 120-150 depending on what else I have running. Most settings on low/110-120 fov
What do you even do with one of these

I have an lg cx OLED for 4K 120 having this 1440p 240 would be the shit.
Samsung on Amazon for $2K, it has 5k mode and 8k mode. 8K mode you lose a bit on viewing area on top and bottom of the screen, but still worth the experience you barely notice it. since the entire screen is pure black.
The bottom monitor is a 49" Samsung Odyssey G9, which has a curvature of 1000R.
It looks like there are some used offers for this item from Amazon Warehouse for $1033.50 and $1049.99
Have you considered a 32:9 super ultrawide like the G9 Odyssey?
Best Buy Canada looks to be the best bet for getting a G9 this month, they're still selling pre-orders for the 14th.
Amazon Canada had stock for a few days, but they've sold out and list it as shipping in 1 to 2 months. Managed to snag one with a shipping window of this week. Will be interested in seeing if it actually ships before the Best Buy orders.
Amazon.... the link is back up as of yesterday.
Not sure about links for the cheaper G7 and G5 models, which are 2560x1440, 240hz, 1ms, HDR600, one being 32" one being 27"..... but I personally "go big or go home" so I pre-ordered the big boy. Its expensive, but to me, its worth it.
EDIT: also note, this link is being sold and shipped by amazon, no third party sellers.
The Information for the monitor all states 49” 240hx ultrawide etc plus I don’t think a 1440p 27” monitor would cost $1700 here’s the link though to amazon so you can explore

I used this to follow a pattern of when they'd go on preorder, usually every 12-24hr: https://www.nowinstock.net/full_historydetails/1113/51094/
I'd keep this open in a separate tab/window and refresh every so often: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088HH6LW5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Oq8aGbJJX1SHG
It did take me three tries unfortunately. Link to amazon but note that the stock is going in and out. It was available for 1399 about 15 mins ago https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-49-inch-Odyssey-G9-LC49G95TSSNXZA/dp/B088HH6LW5

Sure! The monitor is a Samsung Odyssey G9 and the arm is an Ergotron HX.
ANSWER
I hope this answers the OP's question. 😁
https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy/download
Speccy is pretty straight forward for finding out your specs.
That's the most intense use case I've seen so far (20-30 tables at a time), but I can already imagine a way to go...
I'm guessing you open up 2-3 browser tabs with 10 tabs each, if that's the case... I would definitely look into a single monitor that's ultra-widescreen. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/SAMSUNG-Monitor-pulgadas-FreeSync-LC49G95TSSNXZA/dp/B088HH6LW5/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=odessy+g9&qid=1659359942&sprefix=odessey%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-1. Imo, that would be perfect for your use case.
I'm using the Samsung Odyssey G9, and to support it, the Ergotron HX arm.
The monitor is Awesome. Because its a single monitor instead of 3, there are a lot of other racing games (and non-racing) that work well with it, but the trick to make the Ultra Wide more immersive is to put it as close to you as you can.
Another good thing is that it's simpler to setup than a triple screen setup, so its good if you don't have much space and you also play other games that are not racing/sims (Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Down look so good on this).
Keep in mind that to be able to run this monitor resolution at 120hz you need to use DisplayPort 1.4 cables. I think one comes in the box but I use it for work on my mac so I had to buy a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 for that. I also have a AMD 6900 XT and its enough to run anything on this monitor at 60-120hz depending on the game.
I still believe 3 monitors is the end game for this and I plan to build a 3 screen setup once I move to a bigger home, but the G9 is already better than a standard monitor.
For the arm, the Ergotron was expensive but for that monitor size I couldn't find a better option. AND it's sturdy!
This combo was bending the edge of my desk so I moved it to the front for 2 reasons, to get closer to me and to not break the desk =D
Let me know if you have any other questions I am happy to answer.

For the other curious people that monitor is two grand…..
Well if you're looking for a large monitor... I really like my CRG9. The updated version here looks even better.
You should go for it!

I should clarify that I'm hoping to get a 1000R monitor. I can find the Odyssey G9 with 1000R and 240Hz for "only" USD2892 at https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-49-inch-Odyssey-FreeSync-LC49G95TSSNXZA/dp/B088HH6LW5/ref=sr_1_17?dchild=1&keywords=1000r%2Bcurved%2Bmonitor%2B1440&qid=1610868450&refinements=p_n_feature_fourteen_browse-bin%3A17751789011&rnid=17751784011&s=pc&sr=1-17&th=1, but the 120Hz model on that page is only 1800R.
> A 1k monitor stand shouldnt even be conceived.
you mean like this?
This was close enough for me.

So, thanks to COVID-19, I'm spending what would have been my annual vacation money and building myself a brand new, hard line water-cooled rig with a Ryzen 9 5900X and RTX 3080 (whenever the scalpers are defeated and I can get my hands on them). This will replace my aging rig I initially assembled back around 2010 in college (and have incrementally upgraded components since).
Now that I'll be wielding some serious GPU firepower, it has gotten me thinking about my antiquated monitor situation. Currently, I'm working with three ASUS 24" 1080p 144hz monitors (Model: VG248QE). 80% of my computer time is spent on productivity tasks (spreadsheets, docs, email, etc.) and I've liked having a dedicated monitor for Zoom. However, these leave much to be desired from a gaming / overall experience perspective (I usually just game on the middle one, since Surround has always been a pain to toggle on and off, plus I hate the bezels). 1080 made a lot of sense 10 years ago, but now they are just way too small.
For my new setup, I've been toying with a lot of different possibilities, but have been struggling to decide on a number of factors, specifically: 1440p vs. 4k, 1 super ultra-widescreen, 2 ultra-widescreens, 2 or 3 27" displays. If I was deciding pure gaming, I would just get a giant 4k tv pretending to be a monitor and call it a day, but that productivity aspect is critical for me.
A few options I'm looking at:
One mammoth UWS: Samsung 49" Odyssey - 120hz Insane Widescreen - This gorgeous monster is currently my number one contender, it's huge and gaming friendly. It's definitely on the pricey side though, but I'm mostly concerned that it would be too much of a productivity shock to go from three monitors to just one big one. I think in a perfect unbudgeted universe I would have two of these mounted over-under... Perhaps if I get this I keep one of the 1080s and keep it on the side in portrait orientation? Would the resolution difference bother me?
Two UWSs side by side: Acer Nitro XV340CK Pbmiipphzx 34" 1440p 144Hz - Not as sexy as the Samsung, and also no g-sync, but two of these would give me just about the same screen real estate as I have with lots more pixels.
Two 4k Monitors: LG 27UK650-W 27" 4K - Less screen real estate for multitasking, but 4K! Plus I'm sure 27" will make my 24" monitors look like hobbits. Still, is 4k even really worth it compared to 1440? Is it worth not getting one of the awesome ultra-wides above?
Any advice would be hugely appreciated! Thoughts?
TL;DR - I need help replacing 3 old 1080p 24" monitors with a solution that will give me equal or more productivity, as well as provide an awesome gaming experience.
Invest into one of these bad boys. It's my dream monitor. Emphasis on dream because I don't think I can ever justify getting one :'[

I'm in Canada. Here is the link for the g9: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B088HH6LW5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Looks like the G9 to me.
Highly recommend Samsung's Odyssey G9. It's what I'm currently using and has an aggressive curve, 240 hz display and 1ms response time. Gsync and Freesync. Early models were problematic but Samsung squared things away with the manufacturing process. It's not perfect, like I'm unhappy with the HDR versus my TV that has local dimming, but everything else is great and the price right now is really good.
They go in and out of stock all the time so if you see it's out, just wait even a few hours.
For a bit cheaper, I can also recommend the Samsung CRG9. It has less of a curve but still curved. Still a great screen, but 120 hz max, 4ms response, Freesync only. Most modern Nvidia cards will do Freesync but can have flickering.
Both models have a native resoltion of 5120x1440.
Thanks they didn't accept that but they did accept the screen shot from google cache as proof that the price was real, and matched it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088HH6LW5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3Q.uFbS6Q4220
It is our of stock and has been for a while
I know I might be late with this response, but I believe I found the difference. The model LC49G97TSSNXDC on the Samsung website has a resolution of 5120 x 1440. The model LC49G95TSSNXZA over on Amazon is listed with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. I believe this is the difference between the two models.

Here's a good comparison of both...at least we have a solid release date on the Samsung (Jul 13) as per Amazon.

Edit: forgot to add my $0.02...as a Mac user I'm leaning towards the LG due to it's single-cable Thunderbolt 3 for video/power/data.
The Amazon listing is back up. Here’s the link if needed.
I have a preorder on Amazon until BestBuy opens up, but when I check the Amazon product page again, it's down.
It's on B&H, and the link to amazon is here

Just press "Pre-order: Add to Cart" and then the actual Amazon site should show up. Your cart should also now show the correct G9 picture instead of G7.
