$599
>I got my Samsung Odyssey+ for $230 brand new. They were 100% being sold at that price through official sources.
Yeah you got some promo which doesn't mean anything.
Dude, yes it is! Lol what are you saying? The link is what IM referring to!! “Disappeared “, no! Things just don’t disappear! Lol It most likely sold out and came back in stock. Amazon does that. When things sell out.. they listing is takin down. Or in other words.. your words... the listing “disappears”. Lol
OP, check the link. Hopefully it’s still available.. if not just keep checking every few hours or so.

oh man you guys get fucked on that price then, but yeah the deal was through best buy but amazon has price matched, it's 400 usd but i've got no clue what you'd have to pay

Also on sale at the same price on Newegg if it does not charge tax in your state.

well I mean you can probably just use one of those forwarding services if you really want one, it would probably still be cheaper than getting it from amazon jp, its just annoying to register and set up.
Also, if you check amazon.com there may be a seller who ships internationally, but looking at the prices they are all 600+ dollars so it probably wouldn't be a massive savings compared to ordering from amazon jp.
*edit these guys ship to Japan: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078K2S122/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A28CO0GI96ZGPX&psc=1 but they overprice by 100$ and shipping is 100$ so total final price is 700$, although still cheaper than amazon jp.
*2nd edit this guy seems to have used a forwarding service to get it from the US samsung store. https://togetter.com/li/1174132 The forwarding service he used is spearnet: https://www.spearnet-us.com/
He has screenshots of his entire process and everything. It seems spearnet only charged 40$ (after he used a 40$ discount code) for the forwarding. So I guess without the code it would be like 80$ or so + the samsung store's 500$ for the headset, I guess final price should still be under 600$ if you use this method. Honestly, this sounds like your best bet. Its too bad samsung ended their 400$ sale.
Can consider Amazon if you have a good risk appetite, PC/Electronics in SG now have a very bad markup rate of more than 10-20% imo,

I would recommend any Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) headsets. I bought a Samsung Odyssey WMR in March for $220. It came with two battery operated controllers and the only problem I had with it was easily fixed (my POV was getting tilted but setting a room boundary up and resetting environmental data fixed it and I haven't had the problem since). I was looking online and the prices have increased but they still stay in the affordable range.
That is the exact headset that I have. I would recommend it if you are trying out VR for the first time.
If you are willing to go a bit more expensive I would recommend looking at Oculus. I will 100% always recommend the Rift S over the Quest but the Quest is a little bit cheaper then Rift S. The only problem with Quest is that you will have a harder time interacting with people in VRChat with it.

technically it's an import, but with a free trial of amazon prime shipping is free.
Decided on a Rift S though.
On a related note, the Odyssey is down to 400?

How much money you got?
Since you need a pretty beafy video card anyways, why cheap out, get a Samsung Odyssey? Was just on sale for $400.
Amazon will probably be your best bet for international orders.
