The Scoville rating isn't that high, all things considered (8k), but you're got a VERY healthy serving of that sauce. It's not, in a vacuum, that spicy, but you're taking in mouthfuls of it.
Where I fucked up was by having only water on hand, which was just about the dumbest thing I could've done. I cried, my lips hurt, and I was sweating profusely. I drank/ate enough dairy that it didn't rip my asshole apart on the way out, but I did feel exactly where it was in my stomach for the better part of 24hrs.
However, the flavor was quite good. I'll probably do a pack or two (I'm here for a good time, not a long time) for dinner tonight.
Sounds like a fun experiment! But if you want spicy, consider the Buldak x2 seasoning. That hot oil is *painfully* spicy (but still enjoyable). Keep experimenting and let us know!
During the pandemic, I ate these korean spicy noodles like 3 times a week because they're quick to make, and taste amazing (https://www.amazon.com/Samyang-Chicken-Flavor-Ramen_KOREAN-NOODLE/dp/B077FG8W9Z/ref=sxts_rp_s1_0?cv_ct_cx=spicy%2Bnoodles&keywords=spicy%2Bnoodles&pd_rd_i=B077FG8W9Z&pd_rd_r=f971f715-8096-4b09-9da2-5b6f094cbd7e&pd_rd_w=5BCl4&pd...)
My tolerance is super high now, I get this chicken vindaloo from an Indian place near by. The first time I got it, I nearly cried. Today it's just a mild spiciness to me. The lady who owns the place claims the recipe is unchanged.
Probably referring to Samyang 2X spicy noodles.
I don't recall any shin ramyun being spicy. Never tried the American cheese thing because it was never on me but if the Koreans do it it has to be good advice. I bet it would have been helpful the 15 times I ate this with tears of both joy and sheer pain, swear to god it feels way hotter than just 8000 Scovilles (someone please tell me it's not just me).
There are versions of the fire noodles that are vegan even though it says chicken flavored though.
Samyang 2X Spicy Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen is vegan.

The noodles are avaliable at this Amazon link and I wrote the top review for them two years ago lmao.
I fucking love these noodles.
I am not paid by them, in fact they probably owe me medical bills due to my colon getting liquefied by them monthly.
Edit: Edited out referral link to normal link, don't wanna be a spammer.
