SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - Up to 160MB/s, C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2, Micro SD - SDSQXA1-512G-GN6MA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_Q2S40Q1RVNC5W10MKSEM_0
Is this the model of smaller one you have with good speeds?
that's my setup as well, I bough model with 256 GB SSD and recently upgraded sd card from 128 GB to 512 GB. That will do fine for me for a long time. I got the sd card here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07P7M6K35/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 currently it costs £95.00 but I got it for £65.58.
I've done very little research into things, but from what I've gathered, there is no reason to go overboard on the SD cards, and I've seen some people recommend a few different ones, but one of which is this one:
I think that is one that people have linked that I've found and should be more than perfect enough for the Deck, but of course if wanting something 1TB it'll be a different one, but anything with similar specs should be fine but anyone can comment a reply with anything they've used or found that's good for them.
I would DEFINITELY not get some off brand cheap shit because it may not even been legit storage space and I just don't trust cheap fake brands.
I've always stuck with these Sandisk ones and had no issues with all the Pis and stuff I've used them with in the past.
I purchased my One X2 before going on vacation and wasn't sure how to use it or how much SD card space I would need so I bought a SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - Up to 160MB/s, C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2, Micro SD - SDSQXA1-512G-GN6MA. I don't use the camera that much - vacation videos, HDR's for virtual tours, and virtual tour videos, and the SD card is less than half full. I have no idea how much recording time I have used.
Insta360 has SD card info on their site, sorry I don't remember what the max size is. Make sure you get fast enough card(s). They list the specs they require. I picked up this one - SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - Up to 160MB/s, C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2, Micro SD - SDSQXA1-512G-GN6MA I bought the camera a little before we went on a vacation last October so I was ordering stuff I thought I might need. It was a bundle from Amazon that had a few accessories and I added a few more. I went with the 512GB SD card because I wasn't sure how much I would use the camera and how fast it would fill the SD card. I didn't want to run out of space while on the trip.
It's currently about half full. I haven't recorded a lot of video. Other things keep getting in the way and the camera and software are still new to me. Almost all of the video needs to be processed. I did shoot quite a few 360 stills to create a virtual tour of my parents house that has been rehab'ed. That has been a fun experience! I'm using Kuula to create the tour.
If you don't have one already, get an SD card reader. Copying the files from the camera via wifi can take a bit of time. Yes, I'm impatient. I've used a cable to transfer to my phone (Note20U) and pulled the SD card to transfer to my PC.
Youtube videos from 360rumors, Ben Claremont, and Eat Sleep 360 have helpful with the camera, accessories and 360 stuff in general.
Still available for me. Might have tried using a German IP address if you're from outside Germany? Don't know.
You'll still enjoy the card though.
512gb because it's a V30/U3. Much faster transfer rates. You can always buy additional cards if you need more storage.
I just picked up a V30 Sandisk 512gb card for $72 on Amazon (45% off).
I use this card on my Mavic 3, the SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card. They have smaller volume variants. I use the 128GB version on my GoPro.
So if you have a Sandisk Extreme, it should be okay for 4K - not 100% certain on 4K @ 120 but the write speed should still handle it.
The unfortunate thing is that it seems like you're locked into splitting up the files at a ~4GB limit due to the file system they use. Even if you format your card in exFAT, you'll still get 4GB splits in your videos. Doesn't take very long for you to hit that cap at 4k120, so just be aware of that.
I'm thinking of getting a car like this one https://www.amazon.se/SanDisk-SDSQXA1-128G-GN6MA-microSDXC-Minneskort-SD-adapter/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Sd%2Bcard&qid=1626532085&sr=8-1&th=1
It has 160Mb/s read and 90Mb/s write, so that should work wonders in most scenarios?
>512 GB for $75 SanDisk Extreme 512 C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2 ratings
Is that a typo?
I'm only seeing the SanDisk Extreme 400GB listed for $75.
The SanDisk Extreme 512GB is showing as $103 and the SanDisk Extreme 1TB as $229.
I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole, to be perfectly honest. Looks dodgy af. Basically nothing but red flags:
1) The price is suspiciously low. 512GB MicroSD from well-known, reputable brands seem to hover around 100 bucks at the moment. That card's about half of that. That old saying about things looking too good to be true...
2) Visually, it looks like someone simply grabbed a picture of a Sandisk Extreme card and did a couple of minutes worth of crude photoshopping on it.
3) Virtually unknown 'brand'. On googling "Dongchunxi microsd card", the only relevant hits are just on the first page of results and all of them from Amazon.
I'd say the chances are quite high that it's one of those fake cards that are actually of much lower capacity and just made to show a desired higher capacity when connected to a computer, the true nature of it revealing on a dedicated memory card analyzing & managing program or through using it an noticing how it starts overwriting the first saved stuff as it gets full.
Now Amazon's customer care reportedly is good and you shouldn't have much trouble getting your money back, but I wouldn't want to do any crapshooting buying potentially fake memory cards and then going through the all the hassle, first testing them thoroughly to see if they indeed are fakes, then getting my money back. And also, if it indeed happened to be an actual 512GB capacity card, its quality and durability would a big question mark. Not fun to have a low-quality card fail when used in an iPod.
The Ultra line is OK, but for write-heavy homebrew stuff like making emmc backups I found the Extreme line to be faster (512GB is on sale for $80 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/ )
Unless your constantly installing and deleting games you should be fine. Its writes that kill sd cards not reads.
I'd also just wait until you get your unit. Prices of cards go down all the time.
My availability is q1 so I will wait until then to see what prices are like. I am hoping that 1TB gets down to the $100 range
if not hopefully https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=twister_B07V2PRSXC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this drops closer to $50

But we could get lucky and micro sd cards based on new processes get released and we get cheaper and faster
On a price/GB basis the 512 for $80 is a better deal: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/
Also on sale on Amazon for anyone interested - bout $20 more.
i have this sd card

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B07P7M6K35?th=1
it records 4k 60 just fine to the sd card.
This one is probably better pick...
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Adapter-Performance/dp/B07P7M6K35?
The one you've picked will work just fine but this one will be overall faster - it's highly unlikely you would be able to tell the difference between the two in games. Installing/downloading/data to card - this is where you could perhaps notice the difference. If you're really tight on money go with the one you've found, if extra 10 quid ain't gonna hurt you just grab the faster one.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Adapter-Performance/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3PAIZ0A2777M6&keywords=sd+card+512gb&qid=1661515722&sprefix=sd+%2Caps%2C116&sr=8-6
Get this one instead, it's also discounted, you need A2 to get better speed
Yes I have the following SD Card . You have to make sure it's fast. This SD Card is as fast as internal storage. I have the 512gb version
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Yeah, kindle app is a super bloated app I have found. So it takes up a lot of space. Along with your 5.62gb fee space is also not a not of a lot of space for HD books. For example, I recently got Marvel’s War of the Realms omnibus from comixology. It was 4 gbs for one book.
I would either add a giant sd card to the kindle you have or trade in the one you have and buy a new one during the prime day sales.
I got this one from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
It worked fine although it wasn’t an a2.

So, this?
Anything faster than this is money out the window.
I bought this one:
SanDisk 512GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2, Micro SD - SDSQXA1-512G-GN6MA https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_1B9CK36Z809547Y1DKFJ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Get yourself a speedy, high class micro SD card like this, and you should be fine. No real need to regret.
I tell people to buy these when they want me to mod there handheld for them. I've never had a problem.

It's a brand new SD card.
It's this 512GB Sandisk Extreme
I've always heard to stick with SanDisk or Samsung. $80

I found this one. Is it fast? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_NRZKNSWA7YMKYCQ8551T
Ohhh that must be why. Pain. I found this one, how would you rate it? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_NRZKNSWA7YMKYCQ8551T
Looks like it's $179.99 for me, not $139.99. Still not bad.
Here's another pretty good one

A better one for €74.99 would be the U3 variant:

Also, seeing your edit, have a 512GB in my phone that I ordered here:

I'd buy this for a little more instead as it's faster.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7M6K35/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZqArFbWAKSC1M
I got it for $95 + tax but it went up.
I have tested this 2 and they work perfectly and with almost instant loading. With 512GB you can end with the "definitve" games collections and never need to touch the SD againg (unless swiss fixes a big bug)
