Do you mind changing the link to an Amazon Smile link? Amazon donates a tiny amount to the charity of the buyers choice.
It seems to either break or ID as affiliate links Amazon links that have any search criteria or anything else in the URL, other than the direct URL for that page. Make sure your links look like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T
And don't have anything extra after that last string of letters and numbers.
Not sure what the difference between them is but a similar sandisk ultra microsd 200gb is on sale on amazon for $65.
The 128gb is also on sale for $39.
Are you sure about 200 mb ?. Search on Amazon for micro sd cards for 100 or 200 gb and you will see them. They cost about 15-25 bucks. Should be enough for many games on the switch. I think they even go as big as 1 terabyte but they are very expensive and not yet worth it
https://smile.amazon.de/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_PaLCFb6GG9PH6
Sandisk recently had a sale on their online store, they sold out pretty quickly.
the SanDisk Ultra 200GB card is exactly $30 right now on amazon.
thats probably the biggest one you'll get for that money unless you find a sale somewhere.
you should definitely stick with the known brands tho (SanDisk, Samsung,..)

SanDisk 200GB Ultra Microsdxc UHS-I Memory Card with Adapter - 100MB/S, C10, U1, Full HD, A1, Micro SD Card - SDSQUAR-200G-GN6MA
Hi, I was thinking of getting a 200 MB SD Card and was wondering what i should do will the old one and considering it is very small how would i store it? I was thinking of a SD card holder but im not sure.
i noticed the 128 Nintendo Mushroom SD card is on sale for $20, but then I noticed on Amazon, this card is 200gh and only $25. Is this 200gb card legit and works well for the Switch? https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-200GB-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T
The 128GB are a steal right now, but I'm in the same boat of wanting to maximize space for future releases at the lowest price.
Amazon has a 200GB card for $75.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073JY5T7T/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Want to 2nd this. My goodness PNY is total crap! I tried to make one work and it didn't work at all.
I'm using a Sandisk 200GB microSD. It's this one, if anyone wants a link to Amazon. I'm using it in a Lexar USB 2.0 microSD adapter that I had laying around.
I'm not sure why SanDisk came out with their 200GB and 400GB Ultra cards, but when I bought my Hero 7 Black last year, I knew I was going to be recording more high res. So I wanted to test one out to see if it had enough speed.
So I put in an order for the SanDisk Ultra 200GB microSDXC UHS-I card with Adapter - 100MB/s on Amazon for like $30 and the 400GB was literally twice the price. I come to find they work really well and are more than fast enough. I have standardized on 2.7K 60fps for most of my shooting and I have yet to have issues.

So if you insist on getting bigger cards, these won't break the bank. Having the space and not using it is much better than running out of space when the right shot comes along. But everyone else is right here, it's overkill on size. But it's not like these are $100 cards anymore.

Good luck
Thanks! One more question if you don't mind.
Would this microSD be okay for Switch? https://www.amazon.de/SanDisk-Ultra-microSDXC-Speicherkarte-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=microSD&qid=1566401886&s=ce-de&sr=1-3#
I did read the microSD site on this subreddit, but one of the Amazon comments from sanDisk said, that they don't recommend these cards for Switch. Which I find really weird. But it's discounted right now and 200GB sounds like a sweet deal.
Sandisk Ultras and Samsung Evo Selects are usually your best bet for price to performance on the Switch.
At the moment I would get the 200GB Sandisk Ultra. It has the lowest cost per gigabyte at 14 cents per gigabyte.
When buying SD cards from Amazon make sure what you're buying is shipped and sold by Amazon.
The read speed on the Switch tops out around 100MB\sec so getting a faster card won't help. If you're going all digital get the biggest SanDisk Ultra your budget will allow.
100MB\sec is roughly on par with cartridges and the internal storage. Very slightly faster than carts and very slightly slower than internal if you want to get specific but it's barely a difference.
Not sure how much you’re trying to spend, but this is the one I got. I shopped around for a good bit before I pulled the trigger and this is the best bang for your buck.

I'd like a new m2 2242 ssd. But it makes little sense when these microsd cards are so cheap.
0.16p a gb!
Sandisk! They run great and very affordable. A 256GB is currently $45 on Amazon! Also 200GB is running for $40 and the 128GB is at $20! (Not sure if they're still running Cyber Monday Deals or these are going to be the new prices) I have a 200GB and will need to upgrade to the 400GB since I'm already running low on storage and I hate to uninstall/reinstall games constantly.
SD Cards are getting cheaper and are very affordable now. I just bought a 200GB Sandisk SD card for around $42.
While there are sales on the Nintendo eShop, you are more than likely to find physical cards either used or cheaper by sales or age. The eShop does charge sales tax, so you have to factor that into your purchase. Also, if you buy a lot, you will earn Gold Coins you can use to help occasionally bring down the price of some of your online purchases.
Basically, I'm a combination of both physical and digital.
200GB for $50. It's the one I currently have in my switch. No issues at all. I have 66GB left on it and own 28 games (mostly exclusives aside from puyo puyo tetris, bomberman and death squared).
Dude sweet! Glad you got the battery kit for the proper price, its easily the most useful accessory.
I'm personally using Sandisk Ultra 200GB Micro SDXC UHS-I. haven't had any issues with reading data in the year I've used it, ofcourse writing Data to it isn't as quick as reading, but totally fine. I keep greater than 1080p video content, massive FLAC library, PDF Books, Audiobooks, CBR, Image libraries on my device with no hassle. I connect the phone to my NAS/personal cloud server and I can grab whatever I want on the go.
I also use the upgraded version of Solid Explorer as it allows some pretty sleek and fully featured navigation between SD card and OnBoard memory.
Yeah, just stick to a reliable brands (samsung, sandisk, etc.) from a reliable vendor. That way if you have any issues with it, you'll be able to return it and either get a new one or get your money back. (I wouldn't trust sd card that sound super cheap and "has" a high capacity. I learned that years ago when buying a usb flashdrive off ebay. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.)
I have a feeling Amazon Prime Day will have some deals on microsd cards, so if you need one and are a Prime member it might be a good time to grab one. Otherwise sites generally have sales on them pretty often.
This was the one I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073JY5T7T And no issues so far with it. (Edit: And actually I was remember it wrong. I thought I paid like $40, but it was $49.99, but the week before Black Friday, it was like $80 something. Right now it's only $5 more than BF.)
As for something like USB cables from chinese sites, I've bought a few here and there and they seem to work just fine. They might wear out a little faster than some better built ones. But for $1-2 bucks, they are easily replaceable if they do die. You can't really fake a USB cable, either it works or it doesn't.
I buy lots of things from sites like Fasttech, Gearbest, Aliexpress, etc. So as long as you do some research before hand, you usually don't run into much trouble. And just avoid anything that sounds way too good to be true.
Does anyone use this SD card? If so, any problems? looking to buy one and this looks good. https://www.amazon.ca/SanDisk-Ultra-microSDXC-Adapter-SDSQUAR-200G-GN6MA/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1529847794&sr=8-1&keywords=SanDisk+Ultra+200GB+Micro+SD+Card
they are NOT dummied out I don't know where you even get that idea from hell every mini game is super inflated thx to their update file...I think you are confusing padding with dummy files which are two completely different things either that or just don't understand the concept of a dummy file...you are so full of shit about the speed being the same its beyond belief but since you either choose to lie or just not capable of seeing framerate drops https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=dp_ob_image_ce can't get more genuine than that ( hell I even had a super fast psp card and that still had the same issue so BULLSHIT) it is IN FACT hardware limitations since the vita runs the psp through virtualization which is why it runs like an actual psp would and genius I run my games from ur0 uma0 and ux0 so regardless of what you say I DO know what I'm talking about....shit compression even effects games on ppsspp but somehow doesn't effect vita? give me a break.... I had been in the psp scene a LOOOOONG time and know how that shit works....the really funny thing is people complained alot about the psn version of gta vice city stories running like ass on vita and guess what thats the same exact eboot.pbp thats being installed by this app oh but apparently you have a magical vita with no performance issues from compression lmfao
SanDisk Ultra. I have 128gb, 200 gb and the 400 gb card and they work flawlessly on the switch (Switch actually support 2TB but there are no such card for sale yet)
They should sell those everywhere.. here is a amazon link so you know how they look like
Samsung Evo plus is also a good alternative
Do NOT buy from cheap random brands
Hey! If you can cancel it, there's some cheaper offerings like this 200GB microSD for $50. The 128 GB version is $30, which is also a pretty good deal.
The read speeds are the same, but the write speed isn't explicitly stated on the ones in the link. A quick glance doesn't tell me much, either, so that may be a bit slower (though I doubt it's that much slower).
There's a 200GB microSD for sale right now for $50 through Amazon. The 128 GB version is $30, which is also a pretty good deal.
I think those are limited time offers, and should expire right before this post is 19 hours old.
I bought one of these https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T
High reads are important to reduce load times. I do run Zelda and Mario on the internal because that's the fastest. 200GB seems to be the sweet spot between affordable and high capacity.
i got mine for $60 on an amazon deal a month ago. With Black Friday around the corner, I'm sure you'll see a similar or better deal. Just make sure its atleast UHS class 10-- like this one. Even if not, its only 70 bucks for 200gb. Kinda worth it.
What's up family. Very urgent question (to me at least).
So I have SMO pre-purchased but I am deciding whether to download to my internal storage or to the SD card I have arriving Thursday. (This one if anyone is interested: https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1508923668&sr=1-2&keywords=200+microsd )
Reason I ask is mainly regarding load-times and software stability, etc. Any other factors that go into downloading games to internal versus external storage. I hear that there is a couple seconds difference in load times with these cards.
Maybe this is a dumb, irrelevant question but if anyone has anything to say, I'm listening.
It's pretty good, but no 256GB cards are amazing value yet. You can get a 200GB card on Amazon for £66 which is slightly better value and from a far more reliable source.
SanDisk Ultra 200GB microSDXC UHS-I Card - $29.21 (26% off)
SanDisk Ultra 400GB microSDXC UHS-I Card - $62.30 (34% off)
Both are near Black Friday value per GB. The majority of "all digital games" Switch owners should be happy with the 200GB. Those with a mix of physical and digital are usually fine with 128GB. But if you need a new card the 200GB is worth considering at only $8 more.
The Switch only supports up to 104MB/s max read speed. Eurogamer found only a 0.3 second load time difference between a 30MB/s card and a 90MB/s card. For most users you want to consider capacity (how much do you need) and value (cost per GB), not speed.

hi! Amazon has 200 GB micro sd cards for about 40 bucks. I have the same one. I am at about %50 usage with about 8 or 9 big title games.
you could get away with a 128 gb card. for $10 price difference. Get the bigger one.
Also. You NEED a tempered glass screen protector. Amazon has a 2 pack for $10. 10/10 recommend

Camelcamelcamel: https://camelcamelcamel.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/product/B073JY5T7T Looks like it was lower yesterday. Possibly it's a geo-tagged price setting. It's dropped quite a bit in the last year so even at the $44 price it's pretty decent.
Check out Amazon, the 200gb cards are down to an all time low of $56!
That's only $15 more than the normal price of a 128gb card.
Currently any existing microSD card will work with the Switch, but you’re better off sticking with some from reputable brands.
Nintendo recommends one with transfer speeds between 60MB/s and 95MB/s. The Sandisk Ultra and Samsung Evo Select SD cards are perfect for the Switch.
If you need more space, there are larger SD Cards. 200GB ones are usually reasonable and at least in the US there's a decent sale on amazon here for one. If you wanted a bit larger, 256 won't break the bank. 400GB Micro SD cards are also a thing if you really wanted to get the most storage.
A lot of people, including myself, have also opted to use the USB drive with an ultra fit flash drive, 128GB which goes for under $50 US link here. It will use up the only USB A port, but as long as you don't need it while accessing anything on the drive you can always unplug it. Some have also instead opted to get a slim Micro USB reader, but there aren't any USB 3 ones that I know of slim enough to work and the USB 2 ones are slow and unreliable, but if you wanted you could put another large Micro SD Card in it.
Finally, there's nothing stopping you from using multiple Micro SD cards other than effort and minor software issues. If you wanted to use games from Steam for instance, as long as the drive letter is the same (which it should be unless you plug in/remove a drive while swapping or had assigned drives manually), all you would have to do is exit Steam, switch the Micro SDs and then re-launch Steam. This will allow you to make a cartridge type setup and would allow for the best bang for buck.
If you still need more space, you can also just make better use of your storage by allowing Windows to compress the drive, a feature of the NTFS file system. On my GPD Win 1, I compress my Micro SD card. Normally, it can only hold 183GB, but with compression I've been able to fit 188GB and I still have another 14 gigs free. Of course this comes at a cost, namely games will take longer to load from the drive and longer to download to it. It's also worth noting that despite having 183GB of usable space, it was advertised as a 200GB Micro SD so accounting for this, I've only really managed to fit 202 gigs, hardly more than the marketed capacity.
In short, flash memory is just unfortunately expensive, especially in such a small size / high density. Your best bet is to get a decent sized Micro SD 200, a decent 256GB SSD, and a 128GB Ultra Fit USB bringing you up to a total size of 585GB, Probably closer to 500 usable after accounting for smaller than advertised sizes and the Windows installation without spending too much. If money is no object, 1TB of storage can easily be achieved with a 512GB SSD, 400GB Micro SD, and 128GB Ultra Fit USB, 1.3TB if you went with a micro USB reader or limitless if you swap multiple Micro SDs.
Sorry if this is a bit long. I like to ramble. Anyway, that's more or less all your options in one place. Also, don't forget the Win 2 should come with a 128GB SSD which could be sold for $50-$60 if you're going to replace it.
If your local Best Buy has this card: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_I6UMAbK6F6NX6
They should price match Amazon since it's sold and shipped by them.
Just picked it up this week based on recommendations here.

Right now I'm debating between 2 I see on sale on Amazon.
This one is on sale for $20, good value, decent 128gb of storage, etc.
This one is 200GB for only a few dollars more which seems a good deal to me...but idk what any of the additional specs or symbols mean so I can't tell if its actually worse in some way.
I've gotten this one. Works like a charm.

Hi, it's not a good deal at all, the 200gb are cheaper also on amazon canada
The A1 cards are good enough for your needs, I have been using one of these for a year plus and i have no regrets whatsoever.
After months of pondering, think I am going to get this card - https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter-Performance/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=sr_1_13?dchild=1&keywords=micro+sd+sdxc&qid=1595062969&sr=8-13 - that work okay I presume yeah?

I would suggest getting a(n)
You would have to flash the Odroid-Xu4 with a OS, I used Ubuntu, Not sure if windows can be put on there.
If you choose this you can pm me and ill help you set it up. You would need to go the plex media server settings after install and make sure Transcoding is set to a folder in the external hard drive bay and not the SD card.

Or should i go for a U3 version SD card?
i see - thanks! I'll probably grab this SD card that was just posted to this reddit: https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-Micro-UHS-I-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T/
I'm investing in a 400gb micro sd when I can ._. Filled up my 200GB
200gb micro SDs are 60 bucks btw
This is the 400gb one I'll be shelling out for
I'd just buy another 200gb card but the point is convenience. I'll have the 200gb card I've got now for less played games
Wow looks like they just bumped the price up for the 256gb card because there are only two left. It was the one on this sub's recommended cards section. However this 200gb seems to still be on sale.
Solid deal on 200gb cards from Samsung.
i assume you mean micro sd this is what I use https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T
There's a 200GB SanDisk card on Amazon for $60-$70 (depending on the week) that's worked very well for me.
If you can handle an extra 8 bucks, you can get an extra 72gb by ordering on Amazon. Just a heads up:
If money isn't a HUGE concern, I'd recommend a 200gb card instead. It's pretty much the same cost/GB, before they start exploding in value with the 256+ cards.
Make sure you're looking at micro sdxc, UHS-1, and something over 80mb/s speeds (the Sandisk Ultra is 100mb/s)
Compare: 200gb UHS-1: $85, currently on sale for $69, $/gb=$0.35 https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-200GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1517939165&sr=1-1&keywords=sdxc+200
128gb UHS-1: $50, currently on sale for $42, $/gb= $0.33 https://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-Ultra-128GB-Micro-Adapter/dp/B073JYC4XM/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1517939244&sr=1-3&keywords=sdxc+128
If you don't mind switching them out though, there's nothing wrong with getting multiple smaller cards. It won't cause any problems (presuming you change the card with the system off). A 32gb card (e.g., the same amount as the internal memory) is like $13.
Yup, I've been using this 200GB card in my Note 4 for a couple of years.
The reason you see things like "64GB" is simply that when the Note 4 was introduced, that was the largest card they tested with.
Yeah, it's a lot cheaper than I was expecting : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_mM4vAbTZ6394G
Future-proof!
I bought a 200 gig 100 read speed on amazon black friday. Sandisk Ultra 200GB Micro SDXC UHS-I Card with Adapter - 100MB/s U1 A1 - SDSQUAR-200G-GN6MA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_SedoAbFTK5HRQ

Thank you!
I’m in the uk and the 200gb card in February was 70 quid on Amazon (from Amazon themselves).
Edit: just checked and it still is https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073JY5T7T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_9zpaAbN0M386F
Pretty much this. Get yourself an microSD card, this one is on special that ends in an hour
And use Emunand for piracy. Reboot with Emunand off and use the legit system for legit games online
I wanted to buy the one of 200gb the bot advice on the wiki page about sd cards (the sandisk one https://www.amazon.it/dp/B073JY5T7T?th=1&psc=1) and I wanted to be sure it will be okay
Sandisk Ultras are good. Perferably you want something with 80-100 MB per second read speed.
Amazon has a 200GB one on sale for $48 today if you want to have a whole lotta space. The 64GB and 128GB models are tracking slightly higher than their recent prices.
When buying SD cards from Amazon always make sure they're being sold by Amazon themselves to avoid fakes sold by 3rd parties. Best Buy will also price match if the item is being sold by Amazon as the seller.
Also, you can grab an SD card for cheap from Amazon
shows theres a newer model available at the same price

Wow, that honestly seems like an extreme waste of money unless you plan on buying every single game ever made for the Switch on digital, in the very near future.
You can just drop $54 on a 200GB and that should really cover almost anyones needs for now. By the time you're going to start filling it up, prices for larger capacity cards should be much lower.
But then again if you just got a ton of money to spend and plan on buying 512GB worth of games that quickly, by all means, more power to you.
I am genuinely curious though... what does your game library look like?

Thats 30 bucks, the 128gb one is 20, your numbers on SD cards are overinflated.
