Not OP but mine is also growing like crazy. I have it 2 feet under this grow light for 12-14 hours daily. It's bunched with other plants on a pebble tray and gets misted a couple times a day. I use worm castings and Espoma Fish! fertilizer and water when the soil is 50-75% dry.
grow light bulb I have this guy in a desk lamp on the corner of my plant table. It's keeping my VFT going through the winter and combined with a glass blow, plastic wrap, and a seedling heat mat, my VFT is actually getting some pink in the traps. (It was a rescue from lowes at the end of the summer) my sundew however is positively bursting with happiness in its own glass pot next door.
Hi all, I was hoping to get some advice. The first is that as you can see, I think my plants are light starved. I put them in front of the best window of my apartment. But being in the north east and north facing, the time in the sun is low (less than 6 hours direct for sure). I did get this light:

But I've been watching them continue to creep steadily higher. Any advice on how much more light I need?
The second is most of them got attacked by a squirrel over the summer. The result is the most mangled looking beans ever, and a ton of propagations. Is it a bad idea to cut the mangled plants? I'm guessing I'll have to move the propagations before the summer.
Thank you! I keep mine under a small grow light SANSI Daylight LED Grow Light that is on for 14 hours a day. The first few pictures were taken in a different location just to get the over head shot. Plant has been sending out ton of new growth and seems very happy with this set up. Hope this helps!
My philodendron micans is exploding under this light.

I had someone in this sub tell me that PAR is only relevant if you're trying to do survive things with the plant at specific times, like flower.
From my own trial and error, I've learned that my plants do well under at least 1200 lumens.
These are my favorite. They fit standard light fixtures and have a good quality of light. I put one in a desk lamp on my plant table and another in the overhead light above my sink. Both seem to be working out well for my plants.
I don't feel experienced enough to recommend a wattage. I'm still learning myself. But this is the one I have. It was one of the cheaper Sansi bulbs (I wanted to try it) and is only 10W. I would probably get at least the next one up for my next purchase.
I would avoid the clip on, tube style LED lights as they provide too little intensity and would provide very little benefit.
Sansi has a newer clip on style that we use in a dark corner of our home with good results: https://www.amazon.com/SANSI-Daylight-Vegetables-Seedlings-Greenhouses/dp/B07S2P69VC/ref=dp_prsubs_2?pd_rd_i=B07S2P69VC&psc=1
If you are looking for a single bulb and will be providing your own light fixture, we have used Sansi 15w, 24w and 36w as well as GE 32w grow bulbs with very good results. You will want to be sure to start with your plants further away from the grow light at first and slowly bring them closer in order to properly acclimate them to the light to avoid burning.
You can also use a full spectrum LED, even if not a grow light, provided it has sufficient lumens. The lower the Kelvin rating, the more soft the color. As an example, 3500k will appear more warm while 6500k would be a sharp white in comparison. Any rating between 3500k and 6500k would support plant growth and we have used many different kelvin ratings within this range with very good results, even for fruiting veggies indoors. (Lumens and watts indicate intensity and strength and the size and shape of the bulb will determine coverage area.)
I currently have two of these, they were recommended from a site that had info about Pedros. What’s your opinion on them?

I use this one link and it has worked well for me for several months now if that helps!
Here is a recent foliage closeup of my micans.

It's a small plant in a 4" pot and I've only had it for 5 weeks. It was lost in the mail for almost 3 weeks before that so it's the only plant I have that's been living under a cloche because I wanted to make sure it recovered.
Seems to be doing well now. The light green leaf is new and unfurled with no issues.
I have it (in the cloche) about 20" under this Sansi grow bulb. It's also sitting on a small pebble tray, so between that and the cloche I've only had to water once. I plan to eventually take it out of the cloche when I see that it's started to vine.
What is your favorite plant and your wishlist for 2021?
I REALLY LIKE SANSI grow light bulb!!
SANSI grow light is nice!!
