My experience with erasers were not great. At least not THIS one. It pretty much ruined my all wheat 13's even using very very light pressure when rubbing. A high % alcolohol wont stain suede.
I have the same boots and a suede eraser like this (I think i have a cheaper kiwi one) as well as a brush has been pretty effective getting rid of scuffs and dirt. I've never gotten them that dirty though, yours look like they've been stepped on with dirty boots... did you wear them in a mosh pit or something?
If that fails, you could always dye them brown or something with less contrast from the scuffs. I really like these boots, but man that color suede stresses me out. I wore mind today biking into work and I was constantly worrying I'd rub them against my greasy bike chain or something.
