I'm a guy and I don't have problems using Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Moisturizing Razor for Women with Bikini Trimmer. It works well for me and the women reviewers as well. The clipper is also adjustable.
Hey! It is very hard. What i do that works is use a electric trimmer. Sorry for the graphic description but it’s kinda needed. In the shower I spread open my labia with my hand and move the outer away from the inner, then I pull it taught and use the 0 or 1 guard setting on a bikini area trimmer and just run it over the hair I see. Do not use shaving cream with it because it relies on the hair standing up to be able to trim it, it works better dry too bc it’s not shaving your skin it’s just slicing off the hair. It’s great. And then no razor blades running across that delicate skin.
This is the bikini trimmer I use and it works great! I use it for all of my pubic hair
This little tool is at every drugstore, it makes it super easy to trim down the hairs, it is super easy to use and a holy grail!
Costs 2.3k now ( I bought it when it was 1.8) . Amazon link
Hi! I'm enby afab... Yeah, shaving it down to the skin will be super itchy when it's first growing in. It's hell. I find hemorrhoid pads really help because they have witch hazel which is soothing.
I really love this razor for legs/pubic area. Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Moisturizing Razor for Women with Bikini Trimmer,1 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SMIIR0W/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_5BMV2A9JRRW5G8SVHTG6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The clippers get the hairs short but not so short they itch. If you want to shave your bikini area, exfoliate, then shave with the grain of the hairs with moisturizing shaving cream, and when you get out of the shower apply a gentle lotion (I like cerave moisturizing cream). Also be careful to not reshave too soon, unfortunately that skin is very sensitive so it probably won't be able to handle being shaved again so soon without irritation.
Hope that's helpful! 😊😊😊
It’s kinda like a beard trimmer but for your groin. My raiser came with one. One end has a raider the other has the trimmer. I used to use scissors, but I find this gets a closer trim than scissors and therefore last longer. Bellow is what I use but Amazon has a ton load

I read this thinking it could have been me who wrote the comment. My experience is exactly the same. All those lotions etc helped reduce ingrowns somewhat, but my solution in the end had to be to stop getting waxes/shaving and trim the area instead.
I use this and it’s perfect for trimming https://www.amazon.ca/Schick-TrimStyle-Hydrating-Bikini-Trimmer/dp/B00SMIIR0W
I use the Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle. I use it maybe twice a month to trim and shave down there. I used to like to do it a few days before my period because of the same reason people are saying to do it before birth / post-pattern. MUCH less painful than a Brazilian wax. Just put some lotion on there for a few days after you shave and you should be good. Remember that since this is the first time you’ve done this in years you might have an ingrown hair or two.
I think it is safe to say that a lot of men have had the same type of problem - although maybe not the same degree. My adivce would be to leave the hair the way it is right now and just put some baby powder or cream on the skin in that area. My advice would be not use a straight razor, but actually use one of the Schick electric bikini/leg trimmer. I know it might sound silly but I stole my GF once and tried it and since then i have been using nothing but that. Since it is designed to go on that area, the area and angle at which it cuts is gentle on the skin.
Hope this helps
I have this razor and I like it a lot.
I hate shaving it all off because of the stubble (my guy would rather have groomed hair than deal with thick pube stubble, and same with me). If it starts to get a bit wild, I just trim it with the electric razor on the other end of the razor--I trim enough of it that it feels tidy and managed, but not so much that I have to deal with scratchy stubble.
I also have acne and dry skin. Petroleum jelly is cheap, noncomedogenic (won't clog pores) and traps moisture in your skin, so you can use it as lotion on your face and body. Warning: it's greasy and doesn't absorb into your skin. I use it just after a shower before bed and place a towel on my pillow to protect my bedding from getting greasy.
For the day on my face I use any store-brand version of Pond's dry skin cream and E.L.F. brand clarifying face powder (goes for $1 at Walmart) if I feel too shiny.
Regarding body hair: don't feel like you have to shave anything if you don't want to. Personally, I only trim using a trimmer like this.
Ooh, I just got this and it works pretty great for only being $14. You still have to but razor heads but the trimmer is the main reason I got it.
I've never heard of Wilkinson.
This is what I'm referring to: https://smile.amazon.com/Schick-TrimStyle-Moisturizing-Bikini-Trimmer/dp/B00SMIIR0W/
I have this razor that I love. I mostly use the trimmer but then will go in with the razor part and get the wispier outside edge hairs.
Been using this one! Works great and it's waterproof

If you're not ready for wax but can't shave, try a trimmer: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SMIIR0W?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k0_1_10&amp=&crid=345EJ9NN1M4FW&amp=&sprefix=bikini+tri

This is the absolute best razor I’ve come across for bikini trimming. Using shaving cream or a little conditioner will help a lot in avoiding chafing

Just bought Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Moisturizing Razor for Women with Bikini Trimmer hopefully it doesn't change my P into a V
I was using Veet and that really worked well but I got scared of burning myself. So now, I shave. Shaving the cheeks is the easiest. When you shave the crack squat down and you can even use a hand held mirror to help you see. Shave very very slowly, with the grain, and make sure you have a good shaving cream and razor. I get irritated skin and ingrowns down there but I’m looking into some of these Fur products to help manage that. I’ve heard great things but can’t speak from experience quite yet. They are a bit pricey also. https://furyou.com
I use this razor: Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Moisturizing Razor for Women with Bikini Trimmer,1 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SMIIR0W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WMZWEVGZA9QD4JWKPB67
I've been successful at shaving without bumps for a couple years now thank god. The first thing I do is use a specific bikini trimmer. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SMIIR0W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1
After that I use a specific after shaving lotion and that's really, really helped. The first one I used for years was discontinued, so when I finished it, I started using Kerah Lane Organic Razor Bump & Ingrown Hair Formula and it's been great. I got it off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LX3H3B6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
I think using both those things has really helped prevent ingrown hairs and irritation.
i stopped getting ingrown hairs when i switched to -only- using this on my pubes and happy trail.

This. Cheap, runs on a AA battery, water proof and if it’s busts it’s cheap enough to replace.

The trimmer is the handy part.
Have you tried this
I prefer wax at home for the area outside the bikini line. However, the ingrown hairs are still horrible.
Not shaving is the best answer. If I have to be at a textile beach, I don’t stare at anyone’s crotch, and I am sure no one stars at mine. It’s neat to see how pubic hair goes through the same grow and shed functions as your head hair. If you need, you can get a beard trimmer for the lady garden.

This is the one I use. Sometimes I just use scissors.
