Lol if you click the button twice, instead of buying the two pack, you save $10!
Think I'm going to try this as someone suggested. I'll just keep my dogs off the grass for a while.
Came her to post this: Scotts Disease Ex is down to $9.59 a bag before tax.
If you're new to lawncare and you started a new cool season lawn in the humid southeast, stock up on some of these. Fungus isn't a question of "if" it's a question of "when and how bad" next spring.

Recommendation on products? I'll probably buy Scotts DiseaseEx and BioAdvanced Fungicide. I'll use both to make sure it gets taken out

I think came across this link when I was looking into the issue:
https://homeguides.sfgate.com/green-yellow-grass-38946.html
And for my cases I think I might've had fungus which may have been caused or spread when I mowed the lawn when it was still wet. So I got this to deal with it if it ever happened again:
https://www.amazon.com/Scotts-Disease-Ex-Lawn-Fungicide-10/dp/B075R7BNXV
I haven't used it yet so can't say how if it works or not. But if I ever see the tips of my grass turn yellow again I plan to apply it.
And try to avoid to mow the grass when it's wet now, which I did before but even more especially so now.
And with my new grass I think it was because it didn't have nutrients like fertilizer. I think the soil might be in bad shape and am planning to do a soil test for the areas I'm having trouble establishing grass. Where sometimes they'd sprout and grow but eventually die off. I think one year it did start out nicely but died off soon afterwards, maybe the next year. Not sure if I planted the grass seeds too close to each other, watered it too much where the roots didn't establish well even though the grass grew, fungus, etc.
I think this is a non affiliate link to help out: https://www.amazon.com/Scotts-Disease-Ex-Lawn-Fungicide-10/dp/B075R7BNXV/
you have a fungus, looks like brown patch, but could be anything else. two products to use:
use both together, one is a granular the other is a spray. That being said what zone are you in? if fall is approaching you can skip both of these and just reseed at this point, that grass is all dead. But next June when that humidity hits again, put both of these down in conjunction with each other.
also, Check out /r/lawncare and /r/lawnbeer when you are finished or if you have a further questions
