Im from Ontario, bought mine off amazon but the price went up, I had to monitor the link for 2 weeks because they run out of inventory https://www.amazon.ca/SUMMIT-NANO-SINGLE-STANDARD-MOSQUITO/dp/B00BTO42PK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1525289364&sr=8-1&keywords=sea+to+summit+nano+net
1) Not sure how this will work/fit with your Borah tarp, but the S2S Nano Mosquito Pyramid Net Shelter is only around 2.8oz allegedly (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BTO42PK/), which would save you around 3.7oz on the cheap as compared to the Borah Bugnet.
2) As someone else mentioned, subbing out your headlamp for rechargeable Nitecore NU25 with UL headcord that comes in at 1.17oz with headband (https://www.litesmith.com/nitecore-nu25-triple-output-usb-rechargeable-headlamp/) could drop you from 3.2oz, saving 2.03oz for about $45.
3) For sleep (or rotational) shirt, you have a generic T listed at 4.9oz. You could sub that out for a Patagonia Capilene Lightweight T baselayer (https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-capilene-lightweight-t-shirt/45651.html) which is 2.7oz (or the long sleeve is only 3.5oz), saving you another 2.2oz for about $40. If you like how these feel it might make sense to buy one long and one short sleeve to rotate (replacing both your sleep + normal daily wear shirt), and also to give your gear more flexibility while on trail with differing conditions. Capilene stuff dries very fast compared to full merino gear.
4) The items above are around $135. If you want to use the full $500 budget, the remaining $350+ could be spent on the Berghaus Hyper 100 (fully waterproof jacket), which is the world's lightest, at only 3.42oz, compared to your existing NF HyperAir at 7.3oz, saving you another 3.9oz. Most of the other UL class waterproof light jackets are around 6 to 6.5oz each, and this is really the only one I've found that's significantly lighter (albeit at a steep cost; ~US$350 shipped from manufacturer in Europe).
Those changes all together would be a savings of roughly 11.83oz without dropping anything at all, and just subbing gear. If the S2S bugnet doesn't fit your setup the other stuff would still save 8.13oz, and is high quality stuff you'd use well in to the future. Good luck!
Då låter du mer som en snubbe som kan bli inspirerad av tarp

och myggnät tycker jag är obligatoriskt i svensk skog. Aldrig att jag skulle sova utan nät.
