Is Seagate Game Drive for Xbox 2TB Green (STEA2000403) good? Because in its description says (like every hard drive company) "Works flawlessly with Xbox One and Xbox 360." This hard drive is cheap in my country. On Amazon, its price is $124.97 with shipping cost and estimated import fee. I can buy this if can save me from uninstalling games. :) https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Game-Drive-Green-STEA2000403/dp/B01065S79E
I have this one that use for my games/ misc bs that’s been reformatted to work on PC per Seagates instructions, but I should also mention that I’ve been using this drive for almost 3 years on this PC, and Rocket League is one of 2-3 of my main games I have installed straight to my SSD, it’s not on this drive
Seagate are a great brand i used them for years when building PC's and the brand they bought out "Maxtor" however these ones compliment our consoles better i think
Depending on your console colour that is 😆🤣😁
So ive had one since 2015 and honestly its still quite good for 1080p at 60/30FPS gaming and still gives out some pretty good graphics for current games, but you should keep in mind that you wont be able to play new/next-gen games but for all existing games right now it runs them perfectly fine, I’d keep my xbox one if i didnt care about next gen, also i recommend external storage like this seagate drive here 2TB for a really good price. But imo i really think you should try saving up for a one s or even a series S but again if you dont care about next gen games and just want a nice 1080p gaming experience for all games before that, then sure go for it :)
Edit: also you should buy the one S not the OG xbox one, the one S is cheaper and provides better graphics and imo a better design and you can get higher internal storage if you dont want to get an external one
This'll help you fix it. I have one, it's fantastic. There are like 100 games on my Xbox that I'll never have time to play, but at least they're there.
It depends, if you got your kids the Xbox Series X or the older consoles like Xbox One S or Xbox One X then they will honestly be fine with the storage on the console. It's more then enough for a few games and like you said in your post they will have to learn to manage the content and space they have. If you got the Xbox Series S though, then yes a bigger drive would be good. I recommend something like this. It's two TB, you could possibly find a cheaper 2tb, but you would be saving at most like $10.
Thanks for the info. For #3, I was talking about items like this.
Sounds like I should go with the Samsung SSD. Appreciate the help!
Deluxe gives a few small items but nothing that is a huge deal. The deluxe I feel is not really necessary, but to each their own. The season pass gives 3 story expansions (or additional story content at least). I recommend the base game plus season pass (or get the season pass later).
You can gift, there should be a button to "Buy AS Gift" on the Xbox Website. The physical and digital games will be the exact same file size.
Hard drives are not too bad this day and age. Really anything about 256 GB and USB 3.0 works. You can get drives for 50 bucks or so.
It all depends on size and brand. Search Amazon for "Xbox One External Hard Drives" if you want to research more.
For those who want to save a few seconds, here’s a link.
I am building my first computer to switch from xbox. I have a 2TB xbox Seagate hard drive and was wondering if i could just re use it for my PC? I have a 240GB SSD already.
This is it: Seagate Game Drive for Xbox 2TB Green (STEA2000403) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01065S79E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Xz6TCb1VY6QCH
HI all, not very knowledgeable on this type of information. Would this SSD be a good one to purchase and will it speed up load times as some described below? Want to make sure I know what I am purchasing before I buy it.
I use the Seagate 2TB Game Drive

You can get the non xbox branded version cheaper I just like the look of this one.
Got excellent reviews and I have had zero problems with it so far. No more deleting games to install others and I believe it is slightly faster using the external usb3.0 drive than the internal drive that comes with the xbox.
I picked up the 4TB version of this Segate portable drive designed for the XB1. I've never heard the thing make a peep and it's plug and play ready!
Yes I would suggest getting an external hard drive, I would recommend this one
If you put in the disc or download of a backwards compatible game, it just plays on your Xbox One. Keep in mind that to open up the 360 menu whilst on the backwards compatible game you have to press the View Button and the Menu Button at the same time.
It's the same Xbox Live account you don't have to pay extra fees or anything and you can still use it on your Xbox 360. Everything stays the same, achievements, avatar, gamerscore.
I don't really know many f2p games so I won't give you my input on that.
Nothing too big about security, you can find everything in the security options.
So this would work? Seagate Game Drive 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD, Designed For Xbox One, Green - 1 year Rescue Service (STEA2000403) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01065S79E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_Nvo6FbH2NDV3Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01065S79E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the one I've been using, thought it would be more than sufficient.
Thank you for your write up. Is this a good pickup? If not can you recommend one around the same price?Seagate Game Drive for Xbox 2TB Green (STEA2000403) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01065S79E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.X35Ab8YAFBEW
I have this and it's only the usb connection to the console:

Yeah, same prices.. (How can I add link to text?)
Will an external aftermarket 2TB hard drive work with the $300 One s?
Edit: like this. https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Game-Drive-Green-STEA2000403/dp/B01065S79E
You can also buy an Xbox brand hardrive that has 2 Tb and is not as expensive

Seagate Game Drive is overpriced because it's Xbox branded and they trick people into thinking it's the only one they can use. You can literally get a standard Seagate drive in the same size for $20 less. I personally bought this WD drive.
I have a Day 1 edition OG Xbox One with games installed on https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Game-Drive-Green-STEA2000403/dp/B01065S79E I have never had an issue
Hell, even this EXACT SAME DRIVE is only $94 on Amazon... http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Game-Drive-Green-STEA2000403/dp/B01065S79E
