Yikes. Well the SNA411 I'm looking at in Amazon is running for $253 which seems about right, though it doesn't provide much description...
Seiko Men's SNA411 Flight Alarm Chronograph Watch [link]
This is a 42mm case so it's a little bigger than what you are looking for but it looks great and has a lot of the features you are looking for. Great reviews as well.
I bought this watch from amazon and wore it for about a month. I like the band it comes with but I have large wrists and Seiko only makes the links in gold now so I cant expand it and don't really want to try and find a new band for it. I have a couple gold links that they sent me which I'll include. There are light scratches on the band from normal wear around an office/home. I took the pictures in bright light to accentuate the light scratching so you can see it but it is not very apparent in normal light. Just something that comes with smooth metal bands like that.
I paid a little over $200 for this watch and am asking $175 shipped via USPS priority to the US. I still have the box and 2 manuals which I'll include.
It's the SNA411. If you search youtube for this model, there are some videos that explain. The watch comes with a manual to look everything up too.
I have also seen them at Joma in the last month as well.
Looks like a Seiko Pilot Chronograph of some sort, but I'm not sure if the exact model. Looks similar to this one, but not exactly the same.

I'm looking to pick up my first entry-level luxury piece ($3000-4000 ideally), and I'm leaning towards Speedmaster Pro. I also can't stop thinking about how awesome the Black Bay Bronze is, but I'm not sure its as versatile. Anyone have any other suggestions?
My current collection is:
Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba Auto
Seiko SNA411 "Flightmaster" chrono
Orient Bambino v2 (blue hands, white dial)
Some cheap orange-on-black Citizen quartz that I liked
I am really not the best when it comes to watches but would Seiko's Flight Master(there are some other colour combinations) be an option? I've never even seen the watch in person nor have I any interest in getting one because it is quartz but I hear that for the price it is a quality piece.
When it comes to size I am an advocate of smaller watches in general so I'd say that you should stay away from ones larger than 40mm (the Flight master is 42mm)
I do not know what the reddit hive mind thinks of TGV but he has somewhat small wrist and the watch looks great on him
Graduation present from my parents. Quite snazzy, it is a tad busy! I've also got a leather strap and a 2 piece NATO on the way.
Probably going to pick up a SKX007 next. My pop has got a vintage 6309-7049 which is the same pretty much and I'm quite partial to Seikos as it is!
Other variations of the same watch include: gold SNA414, white and blue SNA413, and rare all black SZET003.
There used to be a website all about these watches. It's offline as of early 2016 so here's a link to an archive.
Probably not interested, but the worst you could say is no. So I have a seiko SNA411 with a black and grey striped NATO a leather strap and 3 sets of lugs(Original, ones that came with the nato and the ones linked here) and of course the original band, box, pillow and manuals I can offer as a trade. I can also include a fountain pen, if you are interested in those. (If you are I have a collection I could share, and you could choose from)
I hope so. It did this before, but charging it for a while under a lamp brought it back. So far, no luck this time. I'm guessing the battery just finally bit the dust. It's been a good reason to cycle through my others, though. Alternating between my Swatch Skin and Pulsar(The V6 Honda Accord of watches.) I need to go get a new battery put into my orange Swatch, though.
I mean, the SKX's have numbers on the bezel, but yeah, it would be nice if they were on the face. This one has plenty of numbers...
This one, while sadly not automatic, looks very "you."
