I’m not sure of the size difference but I use this level with the 60” Amazon basics tripod and have zero complaints. I certainly don’t use it everyday but it’s served me well on multiple projects for the price.
Easier than that -- one of those bubble levels that has a little laser in the end (the beam passes through some kind of lens that makes it project a straight line).

You’ll definitely need a buddy to help you get the top stringer up—at least to get the first couple of bolts in. Before you attach the stringer to the wall, you have to connect a heavy joint socket (the thing that the arms attach to / swivel from), so holding that in place while trying to screw it into the wall definitely requires an extra person. Everything else is doable on your own, though.
Assembling the arms and marking them that way isn’t 100% necessary because you have room to move up and down within the joint. Here’s a picture to show you what I mean:
