I stopped his strong power fairly easy with a nickel 3-3-5 at that lol, he had minimal yards on the ground by running. It's still an overpowered play regardless, it's been known since the beginning of madden. He ran it well and it's a piece of his offense, doesn't change the fact it's overpowered in this year's madden. I'm stating facts.
I beat him by 1 in what was a toe to toe match. Maybe he should have changed his strategy a little better to leave less time on the clock for me, maybe he could have adjusted to the angle routes I ran non stop because of his base cover 3 zone (all game) with an audibled blitz where the flat zone is suppose to be. It was a boring game to me because all I had to worry about was 4 things:
his motion wr play, throw the out and up route wait for your blocker to get there
stick route
strong power
wait for bunch side routes to develop the throw either out and in (angle) route, slant route, or streak.
That's a great combination of offense but still a base of 6 different plays the entire game max maybe 7 different plays the entire madden game.. Meh why not I played the typical madden cheese way a boring game using the same plays that work but if that's what I had to do to win why not do it, he was doing the same thing so it's cool. I ran my overpowered play also the pa wr in, did I abuse it as much as embry abuses his op plays nah.
I didnt' think this game was so serious or you valued my opinion or comments enough to keep talking about this game /u/expectantsneer that you would still be replying to comments almost a full 24 hrs after posting haha. Brosive it's cool, games over. Do I dislike his offense yes, hella cheesy but remember that's my opinion, everyone is open to call it whatever they want. Am I complaining nah just calling what I see.
Your debate about me calling the same defensive play has no stance in madden. Lol on defense the only defense you can call is either man or zone, what am I suppose to do call man every play, call zone every play? I call the defense that suits the current game i'm playing. Quick project, go play madden. count how many times you called man, count how many times you called zone. Nuff said.
Tip for youtubers/twitch streamers: drama is good for ratings and exposure - hence I don't mind when people keep poking at this, great marketing tactic and if you guys haven't yet you might want to read this book -
