Specs- RX580 4gb, Ryzen 5 3600, 32gb RAM at 3200MHz, I run all my VR games on an SSD as well.

I use this cable, because it is cheap compared the official one and looked good enough to use.

This only just started happening today. When I first got this cable, it performed perfectly for about 5 months of use, then just 2 months ago sometimes you would need to reconnect it, and now it either wont connect at all or does that effect. It seems to only be the cable and I should probably get a new one but its just too much money at the moment

How could I set the bitrate lower and see if that works?

I almost purchased the Anker but I really dislike that the cable isn't right angle. It's also too short and requires a second cable in order to get to a length that makes sense
