I'm a lover of Japanese history and especially the sengoku jidai. Finished this earlier this year. Found it to be a really good breakdown of such a crazy period in Japanese history. If you're looking for something else at all, I'd recommend that.
If you're into WWII Japanese History at all, this is a fascinating take on the war from the Japanese side.
I honestly don't think the original can be topped. Nioh's pretty good tho.
