These guys?
Game One is 'open', while Zero is 'closed/dynamic'. Found this difference by looking at the comparison at the bottom of the amazon offer for the Zero.
Also according to this:
>not sure if there are any other differences but i know the zero changed in impedance from 150ohm to 50ohm. likely they did a bit of changes since many people were using onboard and having trouble driving them effectively. as far as how they sound... should be similiar. just my thoughts... i havent researched it in depth.
So the Zeros are (or at least were) offering better audio considering the higher impedance. Not sure if that's actually true or worth an increase in price, but I guess that's the reason.
I'm looking at getting a Sennheiser Game Zero headset. The only problem I have with it is that the mic is non-detachable, which isn't a huge issue but a bit annoying as I'm getting this to be a sort of "all-in-one" travel and home solution. Are there any equally good alternatives with a detachable mic? The main ones I've see are the HyperX Cloud IIs which are significantly cheaper, and therefore I'm assuming less good sound quality. Any suggestions?
Also I appreciate you mean well, but please don't tell me to get a separate mic and headphones, for various reasons I'm looking for an all-in-one headset.
Thanks!
