Thank you!! These antennas were actually from a company called SFF Noir. I wanted something low profile that I could leave permanently affixed without too much issue. Check them out here.

These are our antennas, made to give a great connection for their small size. Support both 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and Bluetooth. Plus the black connection looks great. Give them a shot, I think you’ll be satisfied!
Don't use the USB adapter. Get something like THIS instead. I bought those for my SFF build (because I hated the ASUS antenna) and they work perfectly. In either rate, you want to use the fastest USB available. Location is your preference.
SFF Noir are the actual popular ones, even being “Amazon’s choice”: SFF Noir Shadowlink Antenna - Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth Antenna Set for PC (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCDJ33N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_9H56R3AWGK25H3MP79M9
The generic ones you ended up buying I had in the past and I had terrible experience with them. The testing and all also depends on actual reach and stability if the signal, which is where I find then to be lacking the most. If the signal came from router a bit far away, despite my phone and laptop connected to it, the PC wifi couldn’t connect properly or would drop out a lot.
SFF noir ones fixed this for me. Or at least to some extend. That being said, they still are smaller than the stock ones and will also then naturally have a bit less signal strength.

They work pretty well overall but I do have an issue with my Bluetooth xbox pro controller disconnecting randomly. I’m hoping it’s just a controller issue since a friend of mine is having the same issue with his controller as well. Works great with my headphones though.
I wouldn’t just buy any antenna as some antennas on the market are only 2.4 GHz and will not include the 5GHz or new 6GHz band. Our Shadowlink antennas provide great coverage for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and we will be testing them in 1-2 months for 6 GHz compatibility.
If your goal is to maintain 6GHz compatibility, I’m not aware of any small antennas that are confirmed to be working with that band, and I haven’t noticed anyone on SFFPC mention testing the new band with any third party antennas.
I suspect our Shadowlink antennas will support the band given the internal design is meant to have broader frequency support, but I’m not prepared to back up that claim prior to testing.
Good luck!

Give our Shadowlink Antenna line a shot. They support Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, and 5.8 GHz. I designed them with SFFPC aesthetics and connectivity in mind

Give these a shot. They support WiFi, Bluetooth, Wifi 6, 2.4 ghz, and 5 ghz. They’re designed specifically for PC.
Once you get the software side everyone mentioned above found out, give these a shot. They’r our SFF Noir Shadowlink custom made antennas. They’ll help expand your Bluetooth (and your Wifi). If you’re using a controller, the difference will be night and day as far as distance from the PC and lag goes.
Good luck!

Not sure why an antenna would have to take up desk space. I would strongly recommend just getting one of these. They’re small but have good signal:

I see that you’re looking for a set of antennas. Take a look at our SFF Noir Antennas. They’re low profile, provide great connectivity for the size, support Bluetooth, 2.4 ghz, and 5 GHz, and they have an attractive all black look.
They’ll be back in stock in 2-3 weeks
Beautiful build by the way! Thanks for the details and pictures. Super helpful for future builders!
Have you looked into getting a smaller antenna for a cleaner look? Part of me is digging the bunny ears look but these popped up over on r/sffpc a few weeks (months?) ago, just food for thought. Love the set up!

This is kind of in a state of flux at the moment. I'm currently waiting for the Velka 3 2.0 to drop next month-ish, as well as an RX 5600XT to take the place of the RX 580.
Parts
Definitely only do what you're comfortable with. I wasn't planning on leaving them like that originally, but when I moved it back and the fan-clip wasn't pushing into the fan grill, it was good enough that I was comfortable with it.
Those antennas are called SFF Noir: https://www.amazon.com/SFF-Noir-Antenna-Dual-Bluetooth/dp/B08NCDJ33N/ There are other replacement antennas you can get that work just as well (or better). The downside of small antennas is that you lose a bit of signal strength and potentially speed - just something to consider.
At least with my setup, I don't think you'd need to remove the heatsink. As long as you can get the fan back there, you should be able to screw it in.

I sell these antennas. They were designed with SFFPCs in mind, and they look great. I’ll link my build with them installed in a minute. I think you’ll be very pleased with them =]
Like those, but without gold. He also sells mini antenna.
Or combine both products and end up paying more! 🥲
Welcome to the club. I recommend picking up some smaller antennas to match the SFF build: https://www.amazon.com/SFF-Noir-Shadowlink-Antenna-Bluetooth/dp/B08NCDJ33N/
I have the same mobo and did the same setup for front io. Also these are better than the original antenna and small. Nice looking setup!

I used the smallest version of these on my Ghost S1 - seem to work well
There's a lot of interest in low profile antenna, but not a lot of information on them. I wanted to provide some links, information, some fairly lazy benchmarks, as well as tips on finding these antenna since they go by many names. You may be unfamiliar with how some of these antenna are marketed, or what the core demographic is for them since occasionally these antenna are sold for other uses. Hopefully I can clear some of that up (note I am not an engineer, nor am I involved in any of these other hobbies so if anyone can chime in and clear up any misconceptions I may have please feel free).
From the top of the photo we have the SFF Noir Shadowlink Antenna - Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth Antenna Set for PC. They are available on Amazon, ship from the US from the last time I ordered back in April of this year, and are fairly good looking. Currently SFF Noir also has some stubbier options, these are what were available back when I ordered them. I like the profile, however their length can interfered with some of the rear IO, notably the Lan port. I tested these antenna and the others by playing with my xbox series x controller and stepping away from the computer until I lost connection or noticed some sort of signal degradation. I don't have any hard numbers, I just thought this would be useful since this would be the most common use case. If anyone has any recommended programs to run for benchmarking the bluetooth or wireless internet speeds please let me know. The SFF Noir antenna allowed me to play uninterrupted as long as I had line of sight 10 meters away, but cut out after 2 minutes of playing around the corner of my room. Very long distance IMO, and impressive that I could play around a solid wall. These antenna are marketed for PC use so it's very easy to find them.
In the middle we have the 2.4 G Antenna Wifi Blue-tooth External Antenna Zigbee Mini Module Antenna. These are available on Ebay, ship from China. I ordered these back on October 26th and received them a few weeks later on November 10th of this year. Your ability to receive stuff from China may vary but I got these way ahead of estimated delivery. I think these look the most impressive. Minimalistic, no interference to any of the rear IO. The only complaint I have about them is that they are slightly off center which you can't notice at a glance, but they aren't 100% flush. The signal loss is more noticeable however. My wifi speeds were definitely slower, but not by an amount that it became unusable. For the controller test I reached 8 meters before I lost signal the first time. I was able to get it back up for a few more minutes before it cut out. Did not allow me to play around the corner at all. I think the sacrifice of bluetooth range might scare some people off, but if you're looking for something you can play with a bluetooth controller short range and you love the aesthetics you'll be happy. These aren't marketed towards anything AFAIK, but are listed as generic electronics. They are listed as RP-SMA connectors just like the SFF Noir were. I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on these since RP SMA come in female and male, and the listing on ebay was not crystal clear about what I was getting. They do come in a pack of 2 however, and the RP SMA are the correct fitting. You can also order these in white, but I haven't placed an order for those. I saw some international listings on TaoBao and some Australian sites that had these listed under various company names. For the United States the manufacturer that brings up the right results seems to be "Zigbee" whoever that is.
At the bottom we have the FEICHAO 3 Stubby 5.8GHz 2.5Dbi RHCP/LHCP SMA RP-SMA FPV Antenna Mushroom 5.8g Antenna. These are available on Amazon, ship from China. I ordered them November 12th and got them in the mail on November 24th of this year. Again ahead of schedule your mileage may vary. I like the understated look of these guys. They also sit on the connectors with a slightly slimmer part so you don't have to worry about it pushing against the IO bracket. They're small enough so that none of the IO is blocked. No complaints about these ones, they're personally my favorite. As far as I can tell I don't get any signal loss like the Zigbee antennas did. These are stubby but I was able to reach the same distance as the SFF Noir with a controller and I could also play with a wall between me and the computer. Very impressive in my opinion. I also didn't notice any loss in wireless internet speed. These are marketed towards flying drones. As long as you choose RP SMA for the connector you should be fine, just pay attention to whether there is a center pin or not since some listings are a bit less clear about what you're getting. On the topic of confusing listings these antenna were also pretty opaque about how many items I would be getting. The other two antenna came in a pack of two, but this listing on amazon DID NOT. Thankfully I was suspicious so I ordered two to be absolutely sure. Sure enough I only received one for each order, so if you're out looking for new antenna be sure to order TWO just in case.
If anyone has any other questions I'll try my best to answer them. If there are any benchmarks programs I should do with these three, or if you would like me to compare them to the sharkfin or another longer antenna please let me know!
Why not get these? I have em and they work perfectly fine. My router is in the ground floor and im 1 floor above.

I think those are shadowlinks.
SFF noir has 'em on amazon though their a little overpriced.
Hey, recently I was thinking on doing the same and my results came down to the "best" three I could find. I haven't bought them yet but I am planning on buying these. Again, they have pretty good reviews, come in two sizes and colors and look the best imo. However, they are sort of expensive. If they are, then maybe picking up one of these would also not be a bad choice: 2nd Choice 3rd Choice.
I bought some SFFNoir antennas too, but I went with the little longer ones just in case I have too much signal loss. These: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NCDJ33N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_858DGH4RTP5P3A06ZXW1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Velka 3 build featuring SFF Noir Antennas
As someone who travels for work, I needed something mobile yet powerful. Something that could handle rural Alaska. Something sturdy enough that it can be thrown in a backpack and strapped down on a bush plane.
This build features my own SFF Noir Antenna, which is available on Amazon (link below). These are definitely the most attractive antennas on the market, and quite frankly, because I made them to be.
Also featured is the Black Metalfish Z39 Cooler, also sold by us at SFF Noir at the link below. This cooler balances a sleek small form-factor perfect for the Velka 3 and Velka 5. Best part - no turbulence from the side of the case as experienced with the Noctua L9. I do, of course, recommend swapping the fan with a Noctua A9x14.
