I'm working through Olly Richards's Short Stories in Swedish for beginners. It's been really helpful for reading comprehension. There's vocab lists and study questions and the stories are entertaining.
For passive listening, I use https://sverigesradio.se/
P1 is the 24/7 talk radio channel that I live stream. I haven’t encountered any geolocation restrictions, so you don’t need a VPN. You can also download MP3s of broadcasts. Passively listening to P1 every day for over a year has improved my accent even though I’m not ready to speak.
There is also a more comprehensible news series for immigrants in simpler Swedish: https://sverigesradio.se/avsnitt?programid=4916
For reading, there are comprehensible books. The easier book is this one: https://www.amazon.com/Short-Stories-Swedish-Beginners-Richards/dp/1529302749
You can also buy the audio book version of it. The link is available in the book.
The other book is: https://www.amazon.com/Swedish-Short-Stories-Beginners-Captivating-ebook/dp/B0977LSHGW
I found it harder to read, so I’m focusing on the first book.
