$100 on amazon. I don’t know how well they will wear, but it’s a major improvement over the cloth that was in it. The factory seats looked blue, torn, and had a layer of dirt that I didn’t feel like dealing with. Cloth might be cooler (temp wise) but I love the “leather” look. Took me 6 hours to do both. Would def do it again if they get messed up in a couple of years.
This is the set that I installed in mine about 3 years and 10K Miles ago. They aren't perfect (a little short in the back), but as far as anyone can tell they look great and have held up great.
OEM seats with these covers. They are labor intensive to install but if you take the time they look good.

Covers? Plenty of places sell nice Seat Covers. But depending on the condition of the seats, look into doing what i did and consider this Reskin Here Off of amazon
Exactly. This one specifically.
Beware, a few fitment issues here and there, but nothing you can't work out with a little seat yoga and gentle persuasion. And again, I'm not worried about the fitment issues on a cheap set of skins if they look decent in the end!
I actually just did this myself, I think we have the same covers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZ7CA4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_W6YcCbSV8077D
I got a pretty decent fit on my seats using hog ring pliers I got off amazon that came with hog rings and it made it easier to attach to the seat.
This was the kit I ordered: Mazda Miata Front Seat Cover Kit for 1990-1996 Standard Seats, Black Simulated Leather https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZ7CA4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_VVQ7wb1JY158Z
Word of warning! It looks like the bottom seat cushion changed in '96 so it wasn't a perfect fit but I made it work. So far the material feels decent to the touch, but the true test will be on the road.
You can buy pleather replacement seat covers on amazon for $100. It looks fairly DIY and the pictures from reviewers actually look really good. Probably won't be the greatest quality and durability, but for $100 it's hard to argue.
Going to order them for myself. Here's the link. https://www.amazon.com/1990-1996-Standard-Seats-Simulated-Leather/dp/B00HZ7CA4K

I used a reupholster kit. it takes some time though https://www.amazon.com/1990-1996-Standard-Seats-Simulated-Leather/dp/B00HZ7CA4K/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=miata+leather+seat+upholstery&qid=1606958150&sr=8-3

not too hard, just tedious.
Hello fellow 94 owner! Blessed are we with the Best Year of the Miata!
I'm in the same boat. My drivers seat has some foam damage and some large rips and frays. Its time to replace the cover and repair the foam. New OEM foam basically doesn't exist, and any replacement seat will be luck of the draw. ONLY NA seats have headrest speakers, but NB seats will bolt in.
Foam is the easy part, plenty of videos about how you basically just spray-glue some new foam on and carve it to shape. Pick your density and go.
Now, covers. Hear me out on this, but I'm leaning hard toward getting these covers. Reviews on Amazon and on Miata.net seem generally positive, the price can't be beat, and what I appreciate is that vinyl seats retain the spirit of the car over leather or neoprene. Plus, they're cheap enough that if one takes a dump, you can buy another set and you're still in for less money than pretty much anything else. Also, they're confirmed to be the correct fit on 90-95 cars. I'll be putting a set onto my car in about 3 weeks.
Here is the link to the ones I bought: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HZ7CA4K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_VVQ7wb1JY158Z
As /u/SpacelyMoto said it was $155 for the Pair. You'll also need to pick up some Hog rings and Hog Ring pliers. You can get them for around $15 on Amazon as well.

I got them from Amazon, but yeah, those are the ones.
