Here it is! I would hold off on using it for at least a couple more weeks though to let things heal more 😊 I also used a silicone scar gel, but between the two I'm pretty sure I used the tape more

I used this tape and it works great. Stays in place all day. I’ve had it on for over 24 hours before. It’s wide, so I just cut the length I need, then cut down the center to get thin strips for both sides.
sure, no problem! https://www.amazon.com/Silicone-Roll-3M-Reusable-Professional-C-Section/dp/B09C1FZY78/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1ZWIQP62KGDU1&keywords=silicone+scar+sheets&qid=1646724436&sprefix=silicone+scar%2Caps%2C123&sr=8-3 i bought these ones exactly^ definitely in the past couple weeks of using them i’ve noticed my one scar i’m working on in particular is less raised, smaller, and less shiny, meaning you can barely even see it from certain angles. i hope it works for you as well!!❤️
I've tried all of them and I prefer the silicon tape. Mostly because you can just put it on and be done with it, you don't need to worry about reapplying multiple times a day. But I had a few spots where the tape pulled stitches out from underneath the skin. It made a few holes next to the vertical incision (but not through the scar - it was weird) and it also drew some out from around the nip scar. It healed fine but it's a bit red still.
So, what I ended up doing mostly is silicon tape for the horizontal scars and gel for the vertical and areola scars (Scar Away gel is good but you don't get much, or another called "Scar Gel" by Murasaki Beauty).
I bought Scar Away strips and they're comfortable but honestly don't last for many washes. The best luck I've had is with these. They're re-useable and seem like they never really lose their sticking power if you are gentle with them and wash them. They've been pretty great.
Bio-Oil and lotion have been good just for the scar massage but I haven't really see any lasting benefit beyond that.
I do think scar massage, especially as soon as you are healed, has probably been the tactic that was most helpful. Where I was more aggressive with it (in the cleavage area), those scars are definitely more flattened out.
Also, the areas where my scars are more raised are on my dominant side, and I think it's because I was moving and stretching earlier than I should have been. I didn't have any pain so I thought it was fine, but I do think being overly active on that side contributed to that.
Silicon sheets take the redness out quick and also help flatten the bumps. Silicone Scar Sheets (1.6” x... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C1FZY78?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I've used this one and it's worked quite well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C1FZY78/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_EGCPVBHNSDVBKYN987CX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Initially I was using this brand. They wash up really nice so you can reuse them quite a bit. I got more life out of them than Scar Away sheets (but those were more comfortable). I don't think that first one holds as much moisture as the other brands, but I'm not sure.
I think I saw the biggest impact with Mepitac (or it might have been the stage in healing that I used it which was 3ish months). This felt like it was actually doing something, however, it didn't stick nearly as well (lasted maybe three days vs a week with the first one), and I could only get like two or three uses out of each strip I cut.
For a while I was putting the Mepitac one directly on my scars and then reusing the first brand over top as a way to keep the Mepitac down longer. That actually worked really well but it still didn't solve the problem that I could only get one or two uses out of Mepitac.
I think I stopped being diligent about scar treatment around month 5 (I'm currently 7 months). I've been thinking about starting it up again on the side incisions.
Scar massage (especially early on) I think was really really beneficial too. The spots I was a little more aggressive with seem to be better now.
These are great!! They stay on all day and have no discernible scent.
