remotely start your pc, 30 bucks to avoid reaching over to click the pc start button is a good deal. you can get it for cheaper if you search.

There are wireless key fobs that plug into your computer that allow you to turn it on wirelessly. Just rebuild the key fob into your design. Is this what your looking for?

PC remote start. You just need a free expansion slot.

You probably can't repurpose a RGB remote to do that, but there is a purpose-built product for remotely starting a PC like one would a TV set.

To fix the cable falling off, where is it disconnecting? Motherboard or switch side?

I bought this a few months ago and personally love it. Although you would need a open pcie slot to install it which would be the only downside.
