Get these to daisy chain. Some of the controllers come with them, you just have to look. Im at work right now so I cant look up the one I got.
thank you for this info, it really helps to hear from someone that has done it themselves. I noticed the majority of the reviews for your LED strip are "1 star" because it didn't work properly for them. But after reading more it appears that the same company has shorter strips (16 feet) that have solid reviews. I guess I'll just get that as the starting point and then buy more of the same brand of strips. As for the connectors are these the ones I need?
Finally, I wanted to ask if they can create a "warm white" like theaters and hotels etc use. Kind of like a slightly orange or yellow white. Or perhaps I need the RGBW (instead of RGB)?
You can try getting some pins and see if the empty header is active. If it works, I suppose you could just permanently solder them in.
