I’ll be honest - I just started making my own.
Let’s be clear about something - I’m a beginner at sewing, and I actually kind of hate doing it. BUT. I end up in tears in the fitting room, so, there ya have it.

My body issue isn’t as much “Mom Bod”. I’m a distance runner, so my butt is biggest way higher than most people’s. Also, my thighs are gigantic in the front. So store bought skirts ride high in the back and rip across the fronts of my thighs. :/
Also, I hate myself so any activity that involves mirrors is a disaster.
I can’t make tops yet, but making bottoms is awesome! It takes me about 4.5 hours to make a skirt.
