Just bit the bullet and bought one of these....

Might do the trick, as it will emulate the EDID, which may solve what is most likely a handshaking problem. Added benefit would allow for all inputs to funnel into Soundbar properly so you don't have any sync issues like I'd found with certain items when using ARC audio.
I'll update if it fixes the issue. Cheaper and easier to get my hands on with Amazon Prime than the Dr HDMI 4K.
This is the one I 've had for two years now...
Hdmi switch is great and had a remote. I have 2 and they both use the same rfid channel so I can control both with 1 remote with one button press. You want this to be heavy bc the cords on the back pull. I also needed special cables to cover small dp, or whatever the laptop/dock had into hdmi. I do recommend this.
SkycropHD 4K@60Hz 5 Port HDMI Switch with Remote 5 in 1 Out 4Kx2K HDMI Auto Switcher, Support HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDCP2.2 and CEC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MJ783KG/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_8XBKDNT3H6T0RXE7P60G?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
My usb switch however.... I wanted one with a button or a remote. It works. However sometimes it starts disconnecting and reconnecting over and over (sometimes when I'm on a conference call and I lose all audio) and I have to reboot the laptop to fix the issue. Happens once every 3-4 days. Very annoying.... not sure I would recommend.

Good luck!
one problem that I do have is that I cant seem to use the eARC and the hdmi-in on the same tv, the audio flickers in and out. It seems that if you want to use eARC, which you need for atmos, then you cant use the hdmi-in, as well. That means you loose one of your hdmi ports. I'm going to try buying this and see how it works. https://www.amazon.com/Switch-Remote%EF%BC%8C5-Switcher-Support-Vision/dp/B07MJ783KG/ref=sr_1_3?crid=MH3KU4DB5V13&dchild=1&keywords=hdmi+atmos+switch&qid=1611219007&sprefix=hdmi+atmos%2Caps%2C235&sr=8-3
I usethis. It has Dolby atmos and vision support, but only 60hz refresh rate.
I have a 5 port HDMI switch that I use for my soundbar.
Supports 4k at 60hz, HDR, Dolby Vision, and Atmos.
I ordered this one only yesterday from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MJ783KG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just checked it on Fakespot and it got an A.
It goes for $43 but was on sale yesterday for $34 for prime.
It doesn't have optical out, but I'm not sure you need it. My setup is all devices go into the HDMI switch inputs. Output from HDMI switch goes to TV HDMI input (non-Arc). HDMI cable goes from HDMI Arc out to Soundbar (not my Beam yet since I am still waiting or it to be delivered).
Are you still keeping the Denon receiver in the mix and supplementing it with the Beam?
